The box promised 150 safety pins, but I counted 161. A bonus of 11. The pins arrive in a durable plastic container that snaps shut, with a compartment for each size of safety pin (see my photos). The smaller the pins, the more numerous. I counted them as follows: 15 of the 2 1/4 inch pins. 25 of the 1 1/4 inch pins. 25 of pins a bit under 1 1/8 inches. 36 of pins just over 7/8 inches. 60 of 3/4 inch pins. The pins are made of lightweight metal bent. Not the strongest or firmest safety pins I've ever seen, but a bargain at the price.

I only needed two safety pins for a homemade costume, but at this price it was actually cheaper to buy this 160‑count set than a tiny pack of ten. The pins themselves are solid — the nickel‑plated finish feels smooth, they open and close cleanly, and none of them were bent or flimsy out of the box. Work good in a pinch! Bought these for our wedding last minute fixes. They are pretty flimsy but they work when you need a last minute fix! Love the variety of sizes The pins didn’t come undone but the metal piece did bend over the night and loosen the hold

I didn't know that some safety pins could be so cheap and bend until I bought some last year that almost drove me up the wall. They would bend at the slightest pressure or force. I had old school pins that I guess were made out of tungsten from the 70's or 80's because they just worked were sharp and never gave out and could be reused- found in an old skirt years later and used again. I thought they were all good. Then I bought those ones last year and got a aggravating lesson in safety pins. So, last night I sat down and studied (lol) before I choose my safety pin purchase. I landed on these for strength, variety, and hopefully honesty. I crossed my fingers and purchased. I am happy with my purchase. These are strong and do not bend at the slightest pressure. Even the tiniest ones slide right through four layers of thick hemmed drapes. They are sharp and don't bend. These will do their job. The variety of sizes and colors and the carry case is just a bonus! These are good household safety pins.

The pins are good 👍 but it was not packed neatly in a box. There were 31 bunches, each having 6 pins of size 1.46 cm and 4 pins of size 1.26 cm. And then there were 2 bunches, each having 9 pins of 2.13 cm. All these were shoved into a plastic packet. Very untidy. I would have liked to get more big pins.
