I purchased this food-grade dried lavender to use as a garnish and to make lavender simple syrup for lavender lemonade, and it exceeded my expectations. The buds are very fragrant, fresh, and clean with no bitterness. A little goes a long way, and the flavor is smooth and floral without being overpowering. It worked perfectly for both garnishing and infusing syrup, and my lavender lemonade came out beautifully balanced. Have ordered this twice.

Not all lavender is the same, evidently. There are subtle differences among this flowering herb. By taste and aromatically, this product is less "soapy". It's fragrance is much more soft and delicately nuanced, though full body and sparkly notes in part due to its freshness. I'm loving the tea I made on this frigid winter day. My favorite so far.
