Looking for a hat to wear in tbe hot sun, is this light and would it be good as a summer hat? I do see any vents.

This is a very good hat for hot weather. I wear it in the Arizona summers with no trouble! There are no vents, but the fabric is very lightweight, so your head does not get sweaty. Definitely recommend!

A question for the owner: What size head do the various sizes of this hat fit?

I wear a 7 1/8 -7 1/4" hat, depending on the maker. I have several of these Radar Pocket Caps and LOVE them. There is a very tiny bit of variation from one hat to another, but I find that the medium size fits fine. On some of these caps, the medium is a bit snug (but not uncomfortably so) and on others the fit is just a tiny bit looser (which I like better.) I chalk this up to variations in manufacturing. If your head is bigger than 7 1/4, you will likely find that the medium is too small for you.
