I have always wanted a honey pot, but I didn't like the standard brown ones. This one is a nice black with gold letting and a simple design (it also comes in white, but I prefer the dark color.The pot is sturdy, and a little heavier than I expected, which helps to keep it from tipping over. It is large enough to hold the entire contents of the smaller honey jars you can purchase. We have some larger bottles and were able to put about 2/3 of the jar into this pot.We have had problems with the bottles of honey leaking from the cap and running down the sides making it sticky and hard to clean. The dipper is less messy and the pot cleans easily with a damp cloth if you do spill some.The lid has an opening for the honey dipper (which comes with the pot). It's nice to have the dipper in the honey with the lid on. I have seen some pots that have a little holder on the side for the dipper, but that always seems messier to me - I prefer this way.The lid sits on top loosely, so it's easy to remove to clean or add honey.If I had one thing I wish was a little better it would be the top - I think it's a little too loose and moves easily - it doesn't have anything really holding it in place. I have almost knocked it off a couple times (I'm a bit clumsy) and worry it would break on our stone floors, but that's the only part I think could be improved.Overall, it's a nice, solid pot.

So what I love most about this honey pot and dipper is that I can wrap all my honey up , dip it in my cup and know that it's enough. The ridges collect enough honey for a cup of tea every time.

Even though the item says the word honey is on the jar, mine did not say anything disappointing. The size of the jar and wooden dipper are perfect.

This is just the cutest honey pot! It doesn’t make sense that i drink more tea these days just so i can use it. I especially like the wooded hive shaped dipper. This is very giftable for anyone you know who uses honey. I’d even say that you could put maple syrup in here too.
