The way the legs go around the toilet make it really sturdy even on carpet. The angle of the raised seat is really supportive but not too much that it’s hard to get off

Excellent product, required one these urgently. And amazon delivered however driver once againleft parcel at front door and did a runner, ignoring my request to deliver to next door! However the item was easy to assemble, its sturdy and you can leave original toilet seat /lid abeit up on the toilet, costs abit more than others but worth it..

HOLE TOO SMALL

I am still recovering from major surgery and we originally used an existing aid that was too bulky and hard to move so I eventually got this. The general feel of it is a wonderful improvement on a good aid, the sides are excellent and very useful. There are two drawbacks, the depth of the seat is too thick for me. I know these raisers are typically high, but I realise that i needed more flexibility in height than this offers. Also, the seat is very hard and the front section comes out quite a lot for no obvious reason to me. The grey turnscrew hasn't really helped stability and the seat sits quite well into the pan. Given what they did to my upper thigh this isn't ideal in terms of fairly unnecessary pressure. I do recommend it based on my initial test, but I can't say that it couldn't be improved for people in my situation - with ongoing pain and all that.

I ordered this because I’ve just had a hip replacement done and needed something with support. Product is well made and easy to assemble BUT :- both handles were the same so one sits in the way! I can just fit in but is a tight squeeze due to wound ! Couldn’t return for a replacement because needed it straight away. Apart from that , good product BUT not really happy
