Having been lucky enough to have enjoyed Pea Soup Andersen's famous soup in the actual restaurant, I've craved it ever since. I was so excited to see it for sale here. Even better - it tastes just as delicious as in my memories. My husband really likes it, too. The case came quickly & was in good shape except for 2 small dents in 2 cans - nothing to worry about. We've already ordered a second case!

Andersons Split Pea Soup is an Amazing Product. The negative is the shipping of this product. I have purchased it twice. First time the packaging and cans came beat up and late. I tried again. The second time they came 3 weeks late. This time completely demolished. Several cans smashed to the point they broke open. When I opened the package, I was presented with an horrific odor. Rotted badly molded soup. To ad insult to injury, the cans of soup had expired 7 months earlier. It is noteworthy, although Amazon has a no return, no refund policy on food product, I was immediately reimbursed when I called and complained.

My husband has told me about Andersen's Restaurant and their split pea soup for 22 years. I found it on Amazon so I ordered a case of it (he said it was good, lol). I cannot believe how flavorful and filling this soup is. It's THICK and has a flavor like no other canned pea soup does. I've had two bowls so far and have put bacon bits in one and one without and I honestly don't know which one I liked best. When this is gone I'll be buying more.

I was able to get it !! Price was a little high from grocery store. Has been my favorite for 60 years..

I occasionally buy this Andersen's Split Pea Soup, 15 Ounce (Pack of 12), with the bacon. I like the one without bacon better, but it never seems to be available.I grew up in San Diego, California. We used to go eat at the Pea Soup Andersen's Restaurant in Carlsbad when I was a kid and the Split Pea Soup with Pumpernickel bread and butter was my very favorite item there.Alter I moved to the Northwest, I could not find this soup in the cans here. So I was totally happy to find this on Amazon.The canned versions do seem to have a pretty high sodium content, so I have to really limit how often I indulge with this soup. I love a creamy pea soup and to me, this is still the best!

I turn to Anderson’s pea soup for comfort food… often with a melted cheese sandwich.Smooth and hearty, warms the insides and very satisfying meal.
