I ordered this for below freezing early walks with the dogs and it does a great job of keeping me warm. It replaces a hat, scarf, ear muffs and neck warmer and pulling this on is super easy and super soft. Just what I needed and it's terribly cute. Very nice and comfortable against my skin and the cord locks make it easy to adjust the headpiece to your liking. Nice heavy but light fleece and nice colors to choose from. Tucks easily into my coat and stays put.I have a 20" head in circumference and this fits nicely. It's not overly big or overly small and will surely fit any size head comfortably. It comes in a plastic bag, inside a flat box and would be easy to send as a gift from amazon. Very happy with this purchase and the quality of this Balaclava.

Bought this for my kid, who decided they didn't need it. Was going to return it until I realised that this would mean I only have one extra item to deal with this winter, instead of two (hat and scarf...and the scarf always falls off chairs / gets rolled so my neck is exposed / is too long / is forgotten).Washes well. Warm. Adapts to cover nose / uncover nose.

I use it for biking in cold days, great price. Love it.

First things first: this balaclava is *warm*. It's soft and so far hasn't pilled like a lot of fleece/fleece-mix materials do.I mostly like it and do wear it since it's so warm, but the cons almost outweigh the pros to me. First of all, this thing is full of static! So in order to keep it from turning my hair into a mess, I have to wear a cap. To keep the balaclava from sliding around, I also have to wear a hat. I don't think balaclavas are supposed to do that. At least this one is fairly inexpensive?More seriously, it occludes vision worse than a regular hood from all angles, including down. So be careful when it's snowy and icy!

Very soft, very comfortable, loose fitting but also very easy to tighten up with the drawstring toggles. I bought this because a similar carhartt hat/face cover combo was a one size fits all but both the carhartt hat and face covering part were too small and very tight. This one is cheaper and much better in every way!

Although we’ve only had 1 out 2 really cold day so far in New York, this hat will be really great if we get many more. It’s comfortable and it’s warm.

It is good. But just using for very hard situation not usual look. I used just 3 times in winter.

It is very nice. I love it. Very well made and actually attractive for a balaclava-type hood. It keeps the frigid wind out of my face and helps protect me from the awful cold. I absolutely am appreciative of the product quality and give the actual hood 5 stars. I really wish the shipping could have been a little faster, though. Since I have Prime, the product was guaranteed to be delivered in two days. I waited and waited as the guaranteed arrival date came and went. I was desperate because I was freezing and where I live, most stores no longer sell winter gear. The tracking number that I kept checking with said it bad been dropped off at a mail site and the delivery service was waiting to receive it. A few days later, apparently the company shipped a new one with a new tracking number and "updated" the guaranteed delivery date to the original day (that had already passed). No idea what that was about. I love the product but wish I could know what happened.
