DEWALT IMPACT CONNECT Copper Pipe Cutter, Impact Driver Attachment, Tubing Cutter (DWACPRIR)

It works really good but the speed of the cut definitely depends on the drill and my ryobi is not all that great so I got it to fit my electric Milwaukee drill and that was a game changer. Its better than I was expecting.it really locks down on the pipe so wear some gloves with grip or your not going to hold onto the pipe.

This tool worked as advertised. Made my work much more timely and the end result was great. Great craftsmanship and all around toughness with this tool. You can't really get into tight spaces but overall great tool. I will highly recommend this tool, not just for professionals but diy'ers as well. 😎

Cuts 3/4" copper pipe fast, it's a little slower for 1/2" pipe. no burrs on the outside cut.

It has 1 job. To cut copper pipe. About 1/2 the time it will work. Other half of the time you’ll have to get your manual pipe cutter to finish the job.

Great pipe cutter for the money. I have it hooked up to a lower model DeWalt impact. Hooks up easy but has to be straight or both tools will strain to work properly.

It worked for a minute the stopped. I had to open up the cutting mechanism and fix the screws that fell out of the gears. So far it still works. Wish they had an attachment for slightly bigger pipe

I was excited about this tool as all my kit is Dewalt and my Milwaukee one had failed after two years of use. Have to admit I am disappointed with this tool, having to switch out cutting wheels is not worth bothering with as it takes longer to cut 15mm pipe than cutting it with standard pipe cutter. It's pretty fast at cutting 22mm copper, but sometimes it doesn't want to grab the pipe, it also leaves a deep burr on the pipe. This was my second one too as first one failed after about 5 boiler installations, maybe I got unlucky on the first one. All in all as a professional tradesman I feel Dewalt have failed with this tool, I am just going to keep it as a spare and I will buy another Milwaukee pipe cutter and deal with the frustration of two brands of batteries.

It's a bit bulky but one you get used to it, it's not to bad. 22mm head cut like a dream but the 15mm takes three times as long. Tried adjusting the spring but it is to fiddly. Swapped the 15mm blade for a 28mm cutting disc and it works as fast as the 22mm. Works as long as the size battery you fit.

Purchased for my son, who was delighted and felt it would be very useful for work in plumbing.

The item is made for cutting US copper pipe and will not work on Australian 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch OD Australian coper pipe. American 1/2 inch is 5/8 inch OD American 3/4 inch is 7/8 inch OD The Item should not be sold in Australia
