Q: Is this item suitable for rabbits?

The box does only mention cats and dogs and also states it should not be used on young animals under 12 weeks old. As such, I would be cautious about using on smaller animal, like rabbits. I suppose the best bet would be to seek veterinary advice. David Noakes, Diamond Edge Ltd.

Q: Can I drop directly into my cat eye ?

Yes you can , use as eye drops to clear any problem , but you can also put some on a cotton wool pad and wipe the eyes too. Have been using this for approx 3 years , its brilliant , dont be without a bottle , I always stock my cupboard up with it , wouldnt b without it, saves a trip to the vets and costly vet bills. Hope it answersyour question.

Q: Could this be used to treat dry eye in a cocker spaniel

No, it is just plains water and salt aka saline solution for washing the eye if theres any dirt. It won't lubricate or give any lasting moisture other than perhaps 2 or 3 mins until it drys up, as its just water.

Q: Is it good for dogs eyes what have sleep in them a lot?

I would say that it would be good to use on your dog to clean in and around the eye , put some on a makeup pad and wipe over eye. I have used it on my dog when he has had an eye infection , it has cleared it ,without having to go to the vet. I always keep a bottle in the cupboard.
