I have never used powdered magnesium before. This one has a very fishy taste and I battle to take it as it wants to make me gag. I have to down a cup of coffee or tea immediately afterwards to try to get rid of the taste and not even that works. Will have to finish it as it is quiet pricey but won’t be buying it again. Will rather go back to tablets.

Best form of Mg, I do my own capsules with it as I cant drink this in water-it tastes awful! Still the best form and good price. Only downside is expiry date on box is 7/21, but I will definitely finish it by then.

This is a good supplement that is very soothing to take. One scoop gives a little under half of your RDA, so I sometimes have two.One thing to note is that, particularly if you have two scoops, it can taste a little funny (almost a little fishy) - so I recommend that you mix it with orange juice to mask the taste.

I can't comment on it's effectiveness or otherwise, since the taste is so awful I'm unable to swallow it - I'm generally good at gulping down vile tasting concoctions, but sadly - especially owing to the cost - this one has defeated me.

Take a DRY glass or cup. Scoop your dose into the glass. Add sparkling water (I use the fizzy water from Aldi) and then add a squirt or lime juice. It is truly amazing how easy it goes down, then: No fishy smell, nothing to gag from. And I might recommend starting with a slightly smaller dose and working your way up to the full scoop, to give your digestion a chance to catch up.

Good product as it is pure magnesium without any nasties but the taste of it is awful. I mix it with malic acid and only then I am able to take it.
