Poor Application Method
Don't know if I got a rogue can, but I found the spray application absolutely diabolical. Came out in fits & starts, despite regularly shaking it. Sometimes in a spray motion, others just droplets. In the end the process was just causing my hand/finger to ache. I applied it three times before using my boots for the first time, & quite frankly, I am not looking forward to using the rest. This was an expensive product in my view, & I will NOT be buying any more.

a water soluble wet proofer
This is made for the very superior walking/hiking/climbing footwear made by Meindle, who recommend it especially to apply to leather/suede/nubuck before first use. Being a watersoluble spray it appears to be solvent free, so it is very likely to avoid damaging rubber or plastic rubber, and so it also doesn't smell.
