Q: Can you use this for pasta?

I have not tried cooking pasta in it myself,but I don't see why not.

Q: Says "17x13.8x12cm" - is that true, please? What is the Diameter (shouldn't it show just one measurement for that??) & also what is the Height please?

Hi, Mine seems to be smaller than these measurements 15 cm across (diameter) 12cm high on outside excluding the handles and 10cm high inside (it had a raised foot to keep the food out of the water while steaming) I find it works well although quite tall for my 7" (18cm) saucepan the lid sits on the steamer rather than on the pan.
