I ordered the shiitake log and the oyster box for my dad for Father’s Day. He’s an older guy, retired, loves to garden and expressed interest in growing his own mushrooms. Despite him having no experience in growing them previously and being older and not one to reach for google for questions/answers should they arise, it seemed easy enough to start. To my delight- the process seemed extremely easy for him and both products were fruitful within days. The directions were simple enough to understand yet in depth as far as any questions one might have. He was so excited about this process he wanted to learn more and ended up calling the number on the back. He spoke with Andrea and not only was he so thrilled to be talking with a real person, she went above and beyond talking with him about all the details, tips and tricks, what if’s, and other ins and outs. They spoke for over an hour, my mom was able to send her pictures, and she ultimately showed him a kindness and level of patience that is rarely found in this world. Her knowledge, kindness, patience, and overall customer support impressed him and myself so much, that his excitement for these products and the process after this conversation was only inflated more. We will absolutely be ordering more in the future. Their products work just as they say, they are a small business that backs their products, and ultimately the people behind the company are wholesome and kind. No better option out there in my opinion. A huge thank you to the gal who took the time to support and grow my dad’s interest in his new hobby.

Easy to follow instructions. The quality of the mushrooms is very good. The taste is very good too. At 1st they sprouted slowly then we got an abundance of mushrooms. Will recommend for anyone who loves mushrooms

I am the grinch and did purchase this product. At first I had a problem and the Shiitake did not grow right, then I contacted the seller and asked for help. The seller was very understanding and sent me an all new Shiitake grow kit. This grow kit is wonderful, the shiitake are growing fast and wonderful. Thank you thank you. They did not have to replace the product but without me asking they relaced the Shiitake and the product is outstanding. If you want to have a great product and see it grow fast that is healthy. I highly recommend this product. After replacing the product, the product did grow right for couple of days then everything died and I lost everything. I would not purchase from this company again but I am a beginner, if you are an expert it may be ok. Aug 3, 2023 update, I just went to Food City and found Shiitake mushroom there cheap in a package. So, Unless you just want the experience of growing this mushroom. I would state you could purchase this product easier from Food City. The Grinch

Sent this to my son, but he said have to keep in the refrig until ready to plant and not going to put a log in the refrig, he just kept it in the garage. Got lots of mushrooms from it

I'm so excited to get mushrooms

Worked so well and the kids had so much fun growing mushrooms! We kept it in our kitchen on the cabinet and it grew so well! I think it’s worth the money. I can’t believe I broke my phone and lost all of my pictures so I don’t have any to post but it works. The instructions were easy to understand too.

Mine worked poorly, waiting on second flush now. First flush was only 10 mushrooms. Not impressive. I have done this myself with my own stuff many times and had way better results. I hope the second flush will be better. Logs were very dry when they arrived. cardboard box with no protection that allowed mold to get in. I was able to remove it but is seems careless... Update: NO second flush. Log was full of mold. I was lucky to get 10 mushrooms. Total waste of money. Growing mushrooms at home is fine. I do it from scratch sometimes. This is a novelty at best. My mushroom tubs that I made from scratch yielded pounds and pounds. This is very expensive for what you get back.

It was wet & blooming by the time I received it, took a long time. The packaging was too small for the log. Small crop after rewetting
