Lasted one week then broke!
I bought this assuming it would have the highest quality control, obviously not. It lasted a grand total of 8 days before failing while playing a game and no longer outputs a signal. Looking online this seems to be a known issue and is hardware based so there's not much you can do. Unless this is resolved you are basically taking a shot that you have one of the cards without a defect, but who knows, maybe they all do and will all fail the same way eventually!

Once you experience a liquid-cooled GPU, returning to an air-cooled system feels like a step backward. The performance and efficiency of a liquid-cooled setup, especially with the RTX 4090, are unparalleled. This GPU not only excels in gaming at maximum settings but also handles intensive 3D rendering with remarkable ease. While the RTX 4090's technology is already impressive, the SUPRIM liquid cooling system elevates it to a whole new level. It's no secret that a well-cooled GPU delivers better performance, and SUPRIM has perfected this concept. The materials used in the cooling system are incredibly solid and dense, exuding quality from the moment you unbox it. Even before use, the metal feels cool to the touch—a testament to its high efficiency. Beyond its functionality, the design is stunning. I can't help but admire the craftsmanship and enjoy the tactile experience of handling such premium materials. To enhance control, I replaced the default fans with Corsair RX 120mm fans, integrating them with iCUE system software. However, the default fans were already outstanding performers. Even with them, the GPU idled at an impressive ~30°C, and during demanding 3D rendering at 99% GPU usage, the temperature never exceeded 45°C. This level of cooling is crucial for unlocking the full potential of the RTX 4090, especially when compared to air-cooled systems that often hover around 80°C under load, risking long-term damage to the GPU components. Proper radiator placement and airflow configuration are critical for optimal performance. Always ensure the radiator is positioned above the pump, so it's higher than the GPU, and set the fans to expel air from the case. Initially, I mounted the radiator on the front panel with the tubes pointing downward, which placed the GPU above the radiator—an ineffective setup. I also configured the fans to pull air into the case, which further exacerbated the problem. The result was disastrous: during a benchmark test at 100% GPU usage, temperatures soared to 83°C and continued climbing. After repositioning the radiator above the GPU on the top panel and reversing the fans to push air outward, the system reached its peak efficiency. In a two-hour benchmark test at full GPU load, the temperature stabilized at a remarkable 45°C without any further increase. For anyone planning to set up a liquid cooling system, I recommend utilizing the top fans of your case or investing in a spacious eATX full tower case. A case with six 120mm fan slots at the top is ideal, as it allows for liquid cooling systems for both the GPU and CPU, with the radiators properly placed above their respective pumps. Personally, I use the **Cooler Master HAF 700 EVO H700E-IGNN-S00 Titanium** full tower case. Its ample space and thoughtful design make it perfect for achieving top-tier cooling performance.

First impressions: ★★★★☆ - The card came in the factory casing with a few nice extra's like a mousepad and stickers. I didn't use either, but worth noting if you're into that. The packaging was about as safe as they could be, the GPU came amply protected from the dangers of shipping. It took around 2 weeks to arrive and had a few delays in the process. Installation: ★★★☆☆ - Significantly more difficult than non AiO GPU's to install, vertically mounted even more so. Do ample research on your case prior to purchasing. Not saying the cooling/performance isn't worth the extra effort, just that it's worth informing people. Performance: ★★★★★ - It was the 40 series flagship for a reason. This GPU has taken any amount of abuse I could throw at it the last few years. Gaming at 4k 120FPS, HDR and Ray Tracing enabled, Skyrim with 3k+ mods, Cyberpunk with actual maxed out settings, crisis 2. - AI models running locally like Mistral Small 24B, Qwen-Coder 14B or AI video upscaling/StableDiffusion perform admirably but will push the limits of the GPU. - The 4090 is also a beast at batch encoding videos, with AV1 codec and the right settings you can cut a library's size in half with little to no quality loss at impressive speeds and energy use. Cooling/Reliability: ★★★★★ - Never had an issue with the thermals on this GPU. It sits at around 40C idle or 70C under load. These temps are consistent even after multiple years of long periods of use. I've only experienced GPU related crashes due to user error, the GPU itself is stable and maintains consistent draw and temps without issue. Design: ★★★★★ - It took some amount of effort and modification, but mounting this hardware vertically was the best decision I made regarding my build. The GPU is slick, with a brushed chrome finish and design that's eye catching without RGB puke. The extra space transferred to the AiO cooling integration makes the design unique and much better looking than the bulkier air cooled 4090s. Power consumption: ★★★☆☆ - This thing CHEWS through power, you need a bulky PSU if you want to push it, I use an MSI 1300W for reference. 500W under load, 40W idle for the GPU alone. My NAS averages 30-40W for the entire computer to run 24/7, if you aren't willing to spend some extra money monthly to keep this GPU fed with power I would look elsewhere. Overall Impression: ★★★★★ - For me, the drawbacks aren't enough to give this GPU anything less than an exemplary rating. It's been a stable workhorse for me a few years now and I can't recommend it enough.
