O'Valley Farms - Ajo, Peruvian Garlic Paste, 15 oz

This paste is very convenient. It’s great to add a hint of garlic into things. It is a mild garlic taste in terms of flavor. I expected it to be a lot stronger than it was. It was a great size and decent price. It’s great if you just want to jazz up the flavor of something a little bit.

A friend introduced me to garlic paste, and it’s wonderful, so easy to cook with, and no mess and really does mimic fresh garlic. I like the paste much better than the best garlic you could buy in a jar. It’s got better flavor and seems to enhance the recipes more.

It smells good but I’m hesitant to try the product because when I received it, the lid was damaged and there were spills inside the bubble wrap. Hopefully next time they will send it in a better packaging.

We use a lot of garlic and have purchased chopped garlic in jars and whole peeled garlic in jars but mostly, we by fresh garlic by the bulb. Was so happy to come across this garlic paste and even more excited to open it up and try it. The aroma is full garlic but not overwhelming. Tonight I decided to use it making a garlic noodle dish. It was the star of the meal. Just the right amount of sweet spicy pungency. I cooked it for a couple of minutes in butter and other ingredients and bathed the noodles in the sauce and a bit of noodle water. The smoothness of the paste makes it perfect for this kind of dish. I’m looking forward to using it with butter and olive oil as a garlic toast spread. We’re used to peeling, mashing, chopping or smashing our fresh garlic. Sometimes that feels like a lot of work. To have this kind of flavor and versatility in a jar, with no work, is pretty special.

It is delicious and very strong garlic paste, the container it comes in is sub-par though and does not close well, my fridge smells of garlic.

THis jar of Creamy Garclic was opened under a bubble wrap----I Smelt before I unwraped it. What a shame to have to pay for something to go into the garbage!

Happy to have this! Before getting it, I’ve never even thought to use garlic paste for anything. Now I’m always gonna keep a jar on hand; really makes everything better. Very versatile and easy to use. My kids love when I make toasted garlic bread with it
