I ordered a size large. I am 5'7 "and 140 lbs. I could have gone with a medium for a tighter fit. They do fit under my jean shorts, and they will be great for roller skating, as I do not want to break a hip. Protective gear works when you wear it, and it helps give you some peace of mind when you are learning advanced skills, which increase the likelihood of "paying your floor tax" (falling). Very nice material/padding.

These will do what you wish them to do...pad those areas where bone breaks can happen. I fell recently and was lucky there were no broken bones sustained. I did not have these then. Now that I do, I am not so hesitant to go outside and work in my yard.

Got these for while my kids were learning to skate and it helped them not fear falling. The pads did well in protecting them from the falls that did happen. They would get right back up and keep going. Size is comparable to Targets sizing. Didn’t have any problems there.

I bought a size XL but bought another size L which fit much better. I bought to wear under my snowboarding gear, I wasn’t progressing because I wasn’t comfortable falling and trying new things. These were great to move on the mountain and didn’t feel too bulky.

These were so helpful for snowboarding! Padded the falls. Fit really good and comfy. Good quality. Lightweight.

I am an actor and I had to play the Scarecrow in Wizard of Oz which required me to fall on the floor a lot! These pads were OUTSTANDING! I could not have done the show without them!

Not sure what the purpose is if not to protect your butt and tailbone. I fell ONCE, my first time down the mountain snowboarding this season and had these on, I bruised my tailbone and potentially slightly fractured, need to get a scan. I wore these the next time I went since I had a trip planned out of town, immediately felt the impact again. Don’t know if there’s a better brand but these are NOT helpful.
