Strongly made and has withstood very strong winds with a 1 metre kite attached.
I bought it on 11 June 2016 and it has been flying an eagle kite to scare off pigeons every day. Quite heavy construction but it has taken the strain well even in very strong winds. Works well as a pole for a kite or windsock. Pigeons and seagulls hate it. A little heavy for a fishing pole but it is 10 metres long so perhaps not surprising. It is now the end of March 2017 and it has only just had problems after a particularly bad spell of high wind and I forgot to take it down at night, my mistake. I have ordered another one. I must remember to lubricate the new one as it tends to form a very strong bond when opened fully. Really Good value!

Great pole
Great quality extendable pole. Light enough to carry without effort, easy to extend. Only 4 stars as the end caps are a little loose.

Great for my needs.
Good price. Product seems good. Not being used as a flag pole but for a geocaching tool of the trade and at that point it is perfect.

Pole
Soon as I got it up and had only one small flag on it it broke !!The weather at the time was very hot and no wind . So I was very disappointed with it .

Very Durable
I bought one of these back in 2013 as a centre support for a wire radio antenna. It survived all manner of storms and bad weather until an accumulation of heavy snow on the antenna wire a couple of weeks ago finally brought it down. The very top section is quite thin and does bend with even a small amount of weight. One useful tip: if the pole is permanently fully extended, apply some strong adhesive tape to each of the section joints which will prevent the sections collapsing in on themselves especially in bad weather. All in all, very pleased with this product, hence just about to order a replacement.

A great piece of kit.
I bought this to get a drone out of a tree about 10 meters up.The tubes stack inside of each other, simply pull out each one and twist to lock in place. The base is the thickest tube with each tube getting slimmer as the length increases, there is quite a bit of flexibility at the top of the pole, but at 9 meters up I managed to slip the end into drones blade protectors and flip the drone out of the tree fantastic bit of kit.

ok intially but very thin material, bits fell out and it eventually broke.
This pole is my first pole, initially seems ok, however after a few times use I kept finding thin strips of a rough sandpaper like material made of plastic falling out of the pole, these strips appear to be abrasive and help to grip each section as you extend the pole to stop the sections falling back down (sort of de-telescoping if you like) so what started to happen was the in any kind of wind or change of temperature the sections dropped down and I had to keep re extending the pole. The wall thickness of each section is very very thin and yesterday whilst in a little bit of wind flying a flag 5x3 feet one of the sections broke, I ensured that the flag was not attached to the top two sections which are very thin and attached it instead to the 3rd section down. Overall, its "OK" but a bit flimsy and thin materials, this was not the cheapest pole around and the fact that the "grippy" bits for each section fell out after just a few uses means I wouldn't really recommend it.

probably fine. You get what you pay for
Bought for fishing on the canal - too heavy. As a pole for a flag or something, probably fine. You get what you pay for, this is good value for what it is.
