Garofalo Potato Gnocchi

Great flavour, great product.

I bought these as I'd somehow managed to leave gnocchi off my supermarket delivery and I'd got everything else for the recipe.I usually buy fresh gnocchi from the fridge section and these are the longer life vacuum packed version but they worked excellently for what I needed.The recipe required me to fry these so they went crispy on the outside - when I've tried to do this in the past - or tried to traybake them the results have been disappointing, often resulting in the gnocchi going stodgy or falling apart - generally doing not what the recipe says they should. I now think I've found the solution - the vacuum packed gnocchi hold together much better than the fresh and fried up beautifully, all golden and crispy on the outside.I will definitely be buying these again, I think they are a great store-cupboard standby.

I always by this brand and from this seller, better than any other I have tried, and I prefer to buying this to the chilled version in supermarkets as you can store this dry version so much longer, would absolutely recommend 👍🏼🩷

Potato gnocchi is not a typical product of Gragnano (the town near Naples where Garofalo is based). But I was sure Garofalo makes them well also being competitive in price. My expectations were fully met!

Garofalo always produce great pasta but their Gnocchi is excellent as well.

ordered 20 packers on Thursday 12th October, They arrived on Saturday 14th October, but were out of date.See photo - Date 24th Sept 2023I would like a refund but can not seem to see how to arrange this

Lots of info in several languages including English but no instructions about re-heating. I'm an experienced cook but these have me confused. Do I put them in the oven or cook gently on the hob with butter or in the gravy of the dish I'm going to eat them with or steam them on a plate over a pan of boiling water or eat them cold out of the packet? HELP!

First time ordering these from online, and have subscribed to them as you make a saving. These are good to store and use in an emergency, they cook really easily and can be used as a replacement for pasta, potato etc. 1 pack servers 2 or 1 very hungry person!! Delicious!
