Resident Evil 4 (PS2) Platinum

A classic game all-around. The disc works exactly how it should, and even came with the manual (black and white, like platinum editions used to come with). The case was in a good state, as was the disc. If you like survival horror and have a PS2, I'd recommend it.

Great game

Good quality. Came in the right box with the instructions. Good price. This is actually the second time I have ordered this game from Amazon. The first one came from a different supplier and had scratches on the disc, and no box or instructions. It didn't matter until the end when I found out I couldn't actually complete the game cos as soon as I beat the final boss it froze. That was quite annoying. But no problems with this one. It has secret missions that Ada does after you complete it too. If you like the Resi games you'll like this one, and I would recommend the supplier on price and quality.

I really couldn't get to grips with the first Resident Evil games, I found the viewpoint awkward and annoying, making aiming a real hit-and-miss (no pun intended) affair, and the characters' control and movement something only a masochist would be happy with. The lack of ammunition was also a major minus point for me, putting the games firmly in the survival horror rather than the action adventure genre I would have liked. The makers of RE4 have fixed these issues by putting the camera directly behind the player and by placing copious amount of ammunition all over the place. The result is that aiming is now much easier and the game more of a fast-paced straight shooter, with enemies at times coming at you from all sides. The graphics in the game are good, if a little bland, and the atmosphere generated is at times quite chilling although not as much so as the other games. The controls are easy to get used to and the puzzles pretty easy; the average player won't have much trouble completing the game in fairly short order. The problem is that RE4 is now a fairly generic shooter, of which they are dozens on the PS2 alone. As I was playing, I couldn't help thinking that I had seen it all before in any number of other games; that's not to say that it isn't entertaining and for the price it's a good buy, I just didn't see much that I hadn't seen numerous times before. What I thought were problems in the other RE games actually made them stand out from the crowd and, whilst I probably wouldn't buy another one, there's no denying that they were unique. That, unfortunately, isn't something that can be said of Resident Evil 4. I'm glad I bought it on budget as I would undoubtedly have felt cheated if it had cost me full-price.

What do I say? This game is simply iconic and has so much replay value. The game case came as described, like new. Resident Evil 4 is the most characteristic RE game by far and is one of the best, hands down.

Wrong Disc!!!!

I know this game well but lost it in particular circumstances so the game is pretty much full rating... the disc however, scratched. Played well in the main missions but was skipping in the other loads. The state of the disc I'm not surprised....

Ho appena ricevuto questo gioco, ma appena ho inserito il cd mi sono accorto che qualcosa non andava, si ferma sulla schermata "Playstation" e poi non va avanti, ho provato altri giochi ed andavano benissimo... lo stavo aspettando da una decina di giorni ed ora mi ritrovo a dover aspettare altrettanti giorni per un probabile reso eccetera eccetera... sconsiglio di comprare da questo venditore.

Bon jeu, livré rapidement, un classique de playsation 2, je recommande, le jeu change des résident evil antérieurs mais offre un second soufle.

Buena relación calidad precio. El estado del juego muy bien. Es justamente lo que esperaba. Recomendable. Volveré a comprar si se da la ocasión.
