I have stuck by D'Addario/Planet Waves cables for some time now, as they've never let me down and this 10ft one hasn't either. I have a 20ft version of this cable too, which is great but a little too long for home use, so I decided to go for the shorter option. It's the same series and exactly the same, barring the length of course. The sound quality is clear, great with no problems. The cable is sturdy as are both plugs on either end. A simple, but often overlooked guitar product, although I'd tend to agree these are a little on the expensive side, I feel you have to pay a little extra to get true quality with guitar cables and it's totally worth it, a bit like having good tires on a car - a bit of a boring purchase, but fundamental, essential and in many ways, can make the biggest difference.

I have the 20ft version of this cable and it's great. The sound is louder and cleared than my old, cheaper 6m cable. My old cable was very hard to lock in and out of my bass but the new tip of this cable has made a good difference. It's still firm when it's in but doesn't make you fling your lead halfway across the room when you pull it out. Also the in-line solder points looks very sturdy and doesn't bend due the plastic frame inside the metal casing. All in all this is a well built, good quality cable that has a wire that doesn't decrease signal even if quite long. I have a feeling this will last me a long time.

Planet Waves 10ft American Stage Instrument Cable Really good sound quality. Vast improvement over their classic series. It has greater clarity and tonal separation, more extensive and balanced frequency response. Very well made and secure fitting. Worth every penny. Try this before you change your amp or P-ups. N.B This has a slightly fuller and more pleasing sound than the 20 ft version, so as always for the best sound keep your cable runs as short as possible.

You'd be hard-pushed to find a better guitar cable for the price. Very sturdy design - built to last. The sound quality if great at this price range, with a nice clean, noise-free signal.

One side fits well in the amplifier but the other end which goes in the guitar is kinda small and shaky. Over all really good quality and sound transfer.

A lifetime guarantee on a lead is a brave promise, but I couldn't ignore it - I don't think any lead I've ever used has survived more than 3 years. Anyway, the lead is sturdy and the weight of it is reassuring, nobody's skimped on the core content. A good teat of a lead's quality is to plug it into a cranked overdrive pedal, turn the guitar volume to 0, and see how much noise the cable makes. These leads pass that test really well.

Let me pat myself on the back a little, first: I've submitted myself to a few hearing tests and the result is that I can hear up to ~20KHz from one ear, and 21KHz on the other. Good news. But for the love of me, I couldn't hear a single tonal difference compared to my existing cable, a Cort branded one, without even a single hint of goldplating. Which is fine by me anyway, since I like the sound of my guitar as it is (and I doubt the tone's really affected that much ny a cable. I needed the cable for my second guitar and this works perfectly. 4 stars because it's a good cable, but a bit on the pricey side, considering what I compared it with.

Poco que decir sobre este producto. Impresionante acabado. Conectores de calidad. El cable viene con una goma para que puedas mantenerlo enrollado y sea más facil para el transporte. Se desenrosca el conector y puedes ver la calidad de construcción. Impoluta. Vale lo que cuesta.

D’addario es sinónimo de calidad y sin duda este cable, tiene eso, buenos materiales en toda la estructura, sin duda muy recomendable y a buen precio

I had a problematic jack on one of my guitars (intermittent issues with certain cables) I know the jack was bad, but this cable actually works with it despite the fact that the jack is loose and could use a replacement (I have other cables that have static and the connection drops out with the same guitar). It's durable and feels sturdy, and I would recommend it.
