This lamp is all made out of plastic. The base didn’t seem very solid for me as when you twist and turn the lamp in it seems to wobble a bit. But since the lamp is all made out of plastic it is very light weight. So, I’m not concern it would fall on top of me or any one else inside the house. Lighting wise it will fit your needs from darker to brighter if that is what you like. In my case we like day light bright. The remote is good for picking your settings. If you don’t need to constant change them you can set it and forget it.

Didn’t come with remote receiver. Tried to fix but was only giving an option to return. I need the light so it is on 24/7. Bright like the sun

The shipping was fast! I received the product in two days. It arrived in a well protected shipping box. The manual in the box gave instructions on installation and operation. It took me less than 10 minutes to install it on the ceiling of my living room. It's BRIGHT! I tried different colors with the remote. Fabulous! I noticed it has an app and I downloaded it and tried controlling it with my cellphone. Wonderful 👍 It is a great product at this price and I will buy it again for my next project!

I do my art in the living room so this had to make decent light without looking too weird. Success - I can paint at nightT

Installed in the bathroom. Very simple design, would not suggest for any other place.
