Pretty good value for the money but lacks a few features I'm used to
I had ordered an Amazon fire tablet and returned it because I didn't like the advertising that came up on the lock screen, and it wasn't truly an Android compatible device. So I ordered this one, which seems pretty good and a great value. However, there are a few things I'm not crazy about. I'm used to being able to control the screen brightness by dragging the menu from the top of the tablet and adjusting the brightness. However, with this tablet, I have to go into settings then display settings then brightness in order to be able to adjust the brightness. It also doesn't seem to be able to adapt to evening hours and then automatically at a certain hour (unless I just don't know where the settings for this are). Also, I'm pretty careful and not hard on my devices, so I don't typically use a screen protector. So I peeled the one off that came with the unit and then after about a week, I noticed some minor scratches on the glass. This surprised me because I don't have long fingernails or use any sharp implements on the screen. So I applied the extra screen protector that came with the tablet, but even after having cleaned the screen thoroughly and applying the new protector using a credit card wrapped in an eyeglass lint-free cloth, I wasn't able to get rid of all the bubbles that are appearing under the screen protector. Other than that, it seems to be working just fine and suits my needs.

Surprisingly good
This Zonko tablet is what I hoped to get and with a name like that at $200 I expected to be disappointed, but I am not. It came in a nice box with all the add-ons, it was easy to setup, and it is reasonably fast. I'm not an Android user but I suspect the difficulties I had have more to do with the operating system than with the hardware. I bought it as a means to move photos from my CFexpress Type A card to an SSD drive, for image storage during a trip where I expect to take over 300 Gb of images. Using a Delkin card reader on the USB-C port it does the job. I put a 512 Gb micro SD card on the provided port. You can format it as internal memory or external. It works well both ways, but it has to be formatted as external memory for compatibility if you will also use it on a PC.I used the micro-SD card to move some movies to the tablet for the trip. It took a bit of work to get the movie format compatible with the VLC video player, but after that everything works. The tablet came charged and in spite of all the work I did I have not recharged it yet, to see how many days I can go without charging. The size and weight are perfect for travel. If I were an Android user everything would have goon more smoothly, but the learning curve was not bad at all.Bottom line - I took a chance and, fortunately, it does everything I wanted it to do well. Very satisfied.

This tablet is a complete waste of money. Can't get a hold of Mfr.
The performance is completely unacceptable and I have found this tablet is a complete hunk of junk. DON'T waste your money. The upside to this tablet is that it is expandable to 1TB via the micro SD card slot. The major selling point for me is that I can use the expanded storage micro SD card slot to format the sd card as "Internal Storage." When connecting to a laptop or desktop, I have used other android tablets with sd cards formatted as "internal storage" and the entire aggregated amount shows as the capacity on the tablet. This tablet only reflects the base internal storage and the SD Card is inaccessible from the PC. You can't copy ANYTHING over to the tablet without it running out of space.I was looking to see if there was a firmware upgrade for the tablet to update it from Android 12 out of the box to Android 13 or maybe 14. At least, I was hoping to get a firmware update that would address the performance issues and the problem with the internal storage not showing the sd card capacity when formatted for that purpose. No OTA firmware updates available and the manufacturer's website has NO support section. They DO provide two email addresses and promise to get back to you in 24 hours. As you can probably guess, you can completely forget about ANY help from them. They have two different emails on their website for tech support and customer service. One of the emails bounced and the other never responded after several attempts and the last attempt was 10 days ago and absolutely NOTHING from the manufacturer. The tablet does not come with a keyboard dock, and that would be ok if it at least came with a bluetooth keyboard case. Instead, you have to shell out extra for the keyboard and mouse that you would expect in the box. The pictures and the list of contents is a flat out lie.The tablet does come with a somewhat nice case, but that is the only "nice" thing about it. I'm disgusted by the purchase, completely pissed off about the lack of support by the manufacturer, and I think the tablet would be far better as a paper weight or used for target practice. As I said, I'm not looking for a premium tablet experience. I'd settle for usable, but this doesn't even meet that standard.Utterly complete piece of garbage! I should have paid closer attention to the note "Frequently Returned Item." It is VERY easy to see why.The most frustrating part of this entire situation is that I've been messing with this tablet for 3 months and I am no closer to getting it to work as I need or want it to than when I got it out of the box.expecting a Samsung, OneNote, Pixel, or Lenovo calibre of tablet considering this tablet's price point. I am, however, expecting that I don't have to wait 2 - 2 1/2 minutes from when I tap an app icon to when the app associated with that icon
