Incredible product
Bought this to fix a motorcycle fairing and wasn't holding out much hope that it would be as good as claimed. Well, I was absolutely blown away by how good this stuff is. Just sprinkle some of the bonding powder over the parts that need to be stuck together and then apply a few drops of the glue and it creates a rock hard bond. I thought I was going to have to buy a whole new bit of bodywork for my motorbike but this stuff created a super strong bond that was held firm for the past two weeks. It's still rock hard too. Absolutley the best plastic glue I've ever used, highly recommended for motoring bodywork applications and I'm sure it will work on pretty much any other item that needs bonding or repairing. Superb stuff.

Bonds where all others fail!
Background. I had a broken styrene plastic part of a cassette deck which had a flat steel spring screwed to it which opened the cassette door. Given that, this was put under a huge amount of stress once the cassette door is closed, compressing the spring. Having used tried three types of superglues, polystyrene cement, milliput and araldite which all failed, I was then told about Q-Bond by my brother. Wow! I used the superglue initially to hold the plastic part in place, and then applied the powder across the fracture. You place a tiny amount of the superglue to the powder which dries almost instantly and the bond is then literally rock hard. Once this is done, I added more powder and hardened and then again to build up three more layers. The resulting bond is literally stronger than the plastic. I also used it in a similar manner for another cassette deck part, which is made of hard nylon. This part is also under continuous stress via a compressed spiral spring. Once again, this product worked perfectly. This stuff is simply amazing!

Proper Glue
I had to repair petrol fuel cover on mk6 Golf which snapped off, cost to buy another cover plus get it resprayed in the same body colour would be a fortune, able to re-stick the cover back on was second to none, brilliant stuff, be careful as I stuck my fingers by accident strong stuff

Filling powders
I was using this to repair a plastic pushchair wheel, which it did ok with. Previously I had extensively used Supa-Fix APX4 which is a similar product. The magic of these adhesives is the filling powder that can reinforce or fill gaps in the joint, producing a very solid repair. The Q-Bond filling powders are finer than the Supa-Fix and I got the impression that when set, not quite as hard, hence the 4 star rating. An excellent product nevertheless.

Does what it says
This glue with the fine dust, which helps strengthen the bonding does what it says. If you use too much it isn't a problem as you can sand the product smooth. Unless it's in a place where sanding is more problematic, be patient. Please read instructions they are really helpful. I have used Q-Bond for the last seven years.

Great for the right purpose...
This is a specific product. Really and truly it'll only work on solid objects where it is needed to bridge a crack or join 2 objects where the surfaces remain visible and do not move during the process. The moment you drop a blob of the liquid onto the powder it sets totally solid, you cannot make changes afterwards; your setting manouevre time = zero. Therefore, if you have a crack in a pipe, sprinkle on the powder, blob on the liquid, and Hey Presto! Done. But if the repair needs doing to the underside of the pipe, how can you keep the powder in position or stop the liquid going where you don't want it?I tried to stick back a rucsac handle but could not get the powder and liquid together between the handle and rucsac without an instant set...so I now have a handle swinging loose and a massive blob of immovable rough powder that feels like the edge of a diamond cutting tool! The liquid can be used without the powder, but it runs for a millisecond then sets like a rock. Thus I have a sunroof on my car which cannot be opened because a tiny amount of the liquid hit the button as well as the whole unit I was trying to stick back into its template.Think out your strategy carefully before using it - get the right application to the right material and it is fantastic, make a wrong move and live to regret it. If in doubt wear rubber gloves. Steve Riches, Northampton, UK.

Awesome for repairs
Have used this for many years on plastics and metals.Really good for patching/filling and general repairs to plastic/metal casings.Recommend to key rough up/clean the surface prior to applying as ensures great/ longer adhesion.Repaired plastic manifolds and even a repair to an engine block as had an oil leak.
