I don’t think I really understood what this was when I ordered it, but I love it! It’s a super thin sticky silicone sheet that holds your paper while you craft. It will hold the ink container in place, holds your stencil in place, or anything you want to stay put and not move. It has a protective sheet on each side. I peeled off the sheet on one side and stuck it to my table. When I’m ready to work I peel the protective sheet off the surface and when I’m done I replace it. I’m working on my table so it’s a hard laminated surface but everything I do turns out great! I will get a bigger size next time. I repeat, it’s not padded, not a sticky mat with thickness to it. It’s an inexpensive sticky sheet that stays sticky and works perfectly. I accidentally cut my first one when I cut my project and forgot to put a cutting mat under it. But I got 2 mats with my order so I’m good to go. I think I’ve wiped it with a wet towel, wiped off extra ink. Easy to use and I love it.

Works perfectly! Just bought a second one to cut up -- Leaving this one in one piece for my workspace. If for NO OTHER REASON -- when working with ink pads they stay put and I'm not chasing all over my desk while I have my hands full doing other things! I also cleans easily. I don't understand why people say it doesn't hold stuff. Everything sticks to mine and it also releases whatever I'm working with easily when it's time to pick it up.
