Georgette Klinger Phytic Exfoliating Face Toner - 6.7 oz

I got this product at first in a sample packet for combo skin. After trying this for a week I was amazed! My pores actually shrank. I have tried several different products focusing on pores and none of them have worked. Not only does this product do amazing things the customer service is outstanding. I highly recommend trying this product or any others by this brand.

Overall the product was great! The only thing is that it made my face oily and a bit sticky. Other than that, 10/10!

The product is good

I really wanted to give this toner a good try, but I couldn't stand to use it for more than 3 days because of the fragrance is so strong. Therefore, I never got to really see if the toner works. Fragrance is a totally unnecessary ingredient.

If you want an uncomplicated toner with straightforward ingredients that tone, exfoliate, tighten, and tackle pigmentation issues all in one, then this is the toner for you. I always considered the Georgette Klinger brand as marketed for my grandmother or mother, but I couldn't have been more wrong. I know the line's ownership has changed, but the quality still seems to be there. The brand has an interesting history of great skincare from its namesake founder, and the now California-based company appears to be carrying on the same tradition. This toner is full of citric acids, green tea, phytic acid, witch hazel, and aloe vera -- collectively, they cleanse, resurface, tone, diminish dark spots and soothe. My skin felt taut and toned. Citrus all by itself will diminish pigmentation, so no worries on that point. The fragrance -- wish it was fragrance-free -- smells like a blend of green tea and citrus. It's a little overpowering for me, but it evaporates and the smell is gone. No irritation, but citrus is acid, so don't be surprised if this one stings a bit. And phytic acid is a gentler exfoliator -- a milder version of glycolic acid which is an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) and is also used in chemical peels. Don't mix this product (AHAs or BHAs) with retinol in the same day, or it causes irritation. This is one toner with a serious bag of tricks without alcohol, and isn't fooling around. If you want results, buy it.

This toner restored my faith in toners. This is some of the good stuff, and hands down the best thing I've tried from the brand. I was starting to get tired of my main toner, which used to work wonders for me but now requires a lot of elbow grease after an apparent formula change. Other toners often are too weak to do what my oily skin requires, or too harsh with cheap ingredients. This toner has good ingredients but I wasn't expecting much; that's why I was surprised when I swiped lightly a few times and the pad was already as dirty as I'd expect it to be after I cleaned most of my face. This stuff is strong, and I don't feel like my face has been cleaner in ages. The toner does cause a low burning sensation for me, like when using a mild glycolic formula. It's not bad at all but keep in mind if your skin is sensitive.

I haven't noticed dramatic results yet but my skin feels super clean after I use it. I can feel it working.

This is a wonderful skincare product if you want a toner that hydrates, exfoliates and diminishes hyperpigmentation. I did not know there was a product that did all that until I tried this toner and saw real results. I've tried many toners - a lot of them from high-end skincare companies - and almost always thought they were never worth the money. This one is very different. I have been using it for a month and some of the hyperpigmentation I have due to sun exposure and age has diminished noticeably. I try to be very objective when it comes to seeing any results from skincare products and I am usually disappointed that I am not in the percentage of respondents who see improvements in their skin. I hope it's because of my objectivity rather than that they simply don't work as well on my skin. With this toner, I honestly believe there has been enough of a visible improvement to the texture and look of my skin that I plan to continue using it. Really happy with the results.
