Wilson Blade v7 100L Tennis Racquet

Great racket. Love the feel and weight

This racquet was recommended to me by a tennis pro (ex world top 300, major tournament doubles winner) in his 30s and another very solid 4.5 player (one of the guys I play with regularly) also in his 30s, who both use the racquet as their daily stick. These are the best racquets I have ever played with, and I prefer them to my comparable-size-and-weight Head racquets. Even though the weight (10.1 ounces unstrung) would usually indicate that it is more of a low intermediate racquet, it plays way above its weight, making it an excellent racquet for high-intermediate to advanced players and serious youth players. It is a racquet that rewards hard swings, and it has helped me improve my play considerably in the two months I've had it, and I'm 62 years old. It both takes and gives good pace, making it an excellent choice for serious baseliners, but it still has a nice feel at the net. Net play is made easier because of its low weight, making it super maneuverable.

Love this racquet!

I took up tennis just one year ago - was using a Head Radical that a friend had loaned me. I used that racquet until the strings popped.While I was having it restrung I used a loaner racquet from the club based on a rec from my pro there. That racquet was the Blade v7 100LHe suggested it because he said it was great for where I was as a 3.5 player and would carry me to about a 4.5 level.I'm now ranked as a 4.0 player and still love it. It's just a solid racquet for ground strokes as well as net-play and I live on aggressive net play!For the price if you are a beginner to intermediate player it's a great choice!
