It measures about 5in long, I don't know whom you want it for, it's so soft and looks exactly like a baby piglet, I bought it for my 2yr old granddaughter as she loves Peppa Pig, it's lovely quality, Happy Xmas Piera Murray

No, this is not a piggy bank. Just a soft stuffed toy.

Is this pig suitable for a 1 year old?

Not sure, but mine has been through it.. with two boys throwing it around and the dog occasionally getting hold of it. It's been washed too and still in one piece. My son was 2 1/2. It has weight/beans in the feet. I wouldn't like to say really.
