Good and strong for putting stuff on the fridge and the shape makes it easier to move or remove

Wow. These are neat, powerful little magnets that look like chess pieces (pawns). More than strong enough to attach a few sheets of paper, postcards or leaflets to the fridge door, I am also using them as magnetic hooks: sticking them to metal-framed tables, workbenches and racking and to hang somewhat heavier items from them, such a scissors, secateurs, screwdrivers, knives and paintbrushes.Notice that in "magnetic hook" mode the hook (pawn) isn't magnetic so metal objects won't stick to it; the magnet is in its base and the magnetism doesn't "leak out" though the sides or top.I like these a lot, probably more than I should. I like neat things!They aren't quite big enough or strong enough to hang heavy items like pliers, hammers or power tools. Maybe the manufacturer could make some king-size or queen-size magnets? I'd buy those too. And maybe build up a complete chess set...

Surprisingly powerful little magnets

Very strong magnets that are perfect for use.

These are great, small but mighty.

As with most purchases I do read the reviews first and was a bit unsure as to the efficacy of these magnets, In my case I needn't have worried, they are incredibly powerful for their size! They came neatly packaged in little plastic boxes, which protect them from damage. I tested each one against a cast iron griddle pan that sits of the middle of a webber BBQ, without exception each magnet was able to lift the griddle pan some way up before the weight overcame it. So in normal (reasonable) use against a good magnetic surface these really are good. I'm using mine on the cabin walls of a cruise ship, they hold a variety of things including the daily programmes, tour tickets, cards, coat hangars (with shirt) and iPad/iPhone cables. I'm sure there are many other uses. Back home they will be used on a magnetic white board in the office, One magnet will easily hold 10 sheets of A4 paper in place.
