Cat likes it, seems to help - sneezing almost disappeared overnight
Positives: Seems to have helped my cat recover faster Good list of immune boosting ingredients No concerning or dangerous ingredients that I can see Decent price for the range of ingredients Seems well liked, although some cats are initially put off by strong smell (see negatives) Easy to use, has good consistency, not too drippy, but moist and runny enough to easily lick off Can make other meds more palatable: crushed tabs or opened capsules dissolved into gel Well tolerated by my cat Negatives: Contains milk, which might be an issue Not all cats will like the strong beef smell. They do like the taste, once familiarised - it doesn't smell that strongly to humans, but based on cats' reactions, think it does to cats My cat's problems; My tom cat has had re-occurring problems, probably cat flu, ever since his castration. He returned to me sneezing, with a dull coat, lethargic, and a warm dry nose. Recently had to take him to vets because he couldn't urinate again and he came back with a bad bout. He'd wake me at night with explosive sneezing, and his purring sounded like blowing through a wet sieve. I bought this, the same brand's urinary tract product, Feliway's Cystease, and will likely add a prebiotic product for all 3 cats. I gave him 2 doses of this within 1st 24 hrs, and within that time, his sneezing improved, and the wet sieve purring disappeared. His coat looked better, and he seemed happier and more energetic after 1 day. He usually recovers without additional help, of course, but it takes longer, 2 weeks or so, so this helped him recover faster. Edit: he continued to recover and was back to normal within 3 days, so think this defo helped. Taste and smell: He took the gel immediately, no need to mix with food, he licked it off my finger on 1st try.. I tried it on my other 2 cats, though and they did not like the smell, wouldn't come near it. I think cats that are sick might take to it more readily, especially if used to taking meds. The cat that likes it prefers meat products, like chicken, beef etc, whereas the cats that wouldn't go near it are fish lovers, so that's maybe a factor: it has a strong beef smell. Edit: once the other 2 cats had seen him having this a few times, and got used to the smell, they are actually quite keen on it. I tried them both with it, and they both ate it gladly - did this while preparing their usual food, so probably helps if they're expecting food. My tom cat now comes and demands it, if I am not punctual with delivery.. actually serves as a treat, it seems. Ingredients: I was impressed, as it has Lysine (not sure if that's the same as L-Lysine), Glucosamine, Taurine and vitamins, as well as the plant ingredients mentioned. It contains nothing that I find concerning, but does contain milk, so maybe not suitable for lactose intolerant cats, but I imagine it's a very low amount. As well as the active ingredients, it contains glycerine (carrier gel), a thickener (Xanthan Gum), emulsifier (polysorbate-20) and preservatives (potassium sorbate, citric acid). Conclusion: For the price, I find that it has quite a comprehensive list of immune boosting ingredients, and my cat tolerates it very well. I also use this or their urinary tract gel to mix with the contents of the unflavoured Cystease capsules (powder), rather than sprinkle it on food. The gel is runny enough to do this. So if your cat likes it (once familiarised, I think now most will), it can be used to make other meds palatable. Overall, am happy I bought this, and recommend it, based on my experience. Obviously, this is NOT a miracle product, so don't expect too much. I was amazed to see one person gave an immune supporting product (can't remember which) a bad review because it did not help her cat that was dying of cancer! If you are worried about any ingredients, I would consult your vet, or try out a small amount first, and wait 24 - 48 hrs. Hope the writing is visible in photos, looked fine on my PC, but who knows..

My cat didn't like it
But it's a hit and miss with cats. Have to put it on his paw and then he will lick it off.

effective
Rescued a young skinny stray cat that was hanging around my porch, I wanted to gain his trust before i took him to the vets re the stress involved. He had a runny nose issue as well as fleas, once i was able to approach him i administered some spot on flea and wormer. I felt he needed some additional supplement combined with decent food etc, Any way after a week of adding this gel to his wet food, he has really improved and the runny nose has dryed up. fortunately he didnt mind the smell or taste. I will continue to use this. Thank you
