LOVE IT!
Perfect! Excellent and authentic quality product. Just the right taste balance of crunch, heat, salt and tang. Works wonders on the gut and bowels, and you only have to wait 24 hours for the evidence 💩👍! Decent quantity too, as a little goes a long way. Perfect in sandwiches and with hot or cold cooked meat and fish.

Tasty
Obviously didn’t taste as nice as homemade but was ok for something in a jar with a long shelf life.

OK, but both flavour and texture are fairly average
This is quite wet soggy kimchi. Good as an emergency stand by, but I wouldn't eat it out of choice. Flavour is a little weedy as well.

It's like a party in your mouth
I recently tried Yutaka Korean Kimchi and was in for a treat! It's like a party in your mouth, but it is hosted by an eccentric Korean friend who always insists on feeding you spicy food. The kimchi is flavoured with the right kick to make your taste buds tingle. It's perfect as a side dish or a quick and easy snack when feeling peckish. And the best part? It's packed with healthy probiotics, which means you can eat as much as you want and still feel like you're doing something good for your gut. If you're looking for a new way to spice up your meals, look no further than Yutaka Korean Kimchi. Your taste buds (and your gut) will thank you!

Never tasted Kimchi like this here or in Korea
This product is nothing like Kimchi that I've eaten over the last 40 years, in the UK, Korea or Japan. The leaves of the cabbage were cut into pieces (they should be the entire leaf. Secondly, the juice is like a soup and didn't have the consistency nor deep flavour of 'Chongga' brand [made in Korea]. The texture of the Yukata Kimchi is similar to a piece of cardboard which has been steeped in donkey urine. I don't rememer the original Kimchi that I know cooked with carrot. Anyway, totally disgusting.

This is my favourite kimchi!
This brand of Kimchi is pleasant. It's really fresh tasting and pairs well with rice :) Nice to know it's also vegan.

Wrong texture - soupy stewed mess with zero crunch
This kimchi has no crunch. It’s beyond soft. This is slimy. It’s like the cabbage has been stewed until it’s practically melt in boiling water. The taste is on the lighter side, but is not a major problem per se; I’ve seen brands that opt for lighter salad-ish kimchi to cater for the uninitiated. I believe there is a place for lighter kimchi in the market. But the soupy, gooey texture is a no go. I'm surprised though. I thought Yutaka was one of the better brands.

We bought it to eat with bossam and I have never tasted kimchi like this before. I'm kind of weirded out by the smell because it smells a little like salsa. I did give it two stars, because it tastes a little like the kimchi you get from like Won Halmoni. It's a little slimy and not very crunchy. It's okay in like jumokbap or wraps, but not on its own.

Item was open and spilled within its wrapping bubbles. Of course I couldn't return it and I lost my MONEY!

It came today and when I opened the box I saw it had leaked out so I had to throw it away.

Worst Kimchi I've ever tasted. Total waste of money.
