Aris Multistir - Folding Ironing Board 3 Height Super Light Solid Book - MADE IN ITALY - Natural Finish

I am so impressed with this ironing board.. beautifully made and easy to erect.. I was worried it might be heavy but it is not as heavy as my old steel ironing board... easy to carry around.. good stable legs and love the wire iron holder. Great simple cover.. My only criticism is that the lowest height is for standing only.. won't be able to sit down to do the ironing..

ZERO STARS! BUYER BEWARE!I spent some time looking for a good looking and quality wooden ironing board, and thought I had found it with this ARIS board. I was especially pleased that it had a stainless steel mesh board for good ventilation. However …PROS1. It’s pretty, and has a very wide board.2. It’s relatively light and easy to erect and fold up again.CONS1. It rocks alarmingly when trying to use the ironing board. Even with minimal pressure on the board, it is VERY wobbly.2. The T-design of the legs and feet mean that varying pressures on the board causes it to swivel on the feet, producing a small spin on the floor. This may be because of the T-design of the legs and feet, causing the board and floor base to produce a counter spin. I don’t know whether this is a design or a manufacturing problem, and I don’t care. As far as I am concerned, this is an accident waiting to happen. This is virtually unavoidable due to the forward-backward movements during ironing.3. The upright legs and horizontal base are simply glued together. The torque on the glued joints means that it is only a matter of time before legs and feet part company.3. The response that I got from the seller was discouraging. They claim that they tried to reply to my first email but it “got lost”. ARIS - you do realise, don’t you, that ALL correspondence between customers and sellers is logged on the Amazon customer service pages?4. I tried to explain that the problem involved the DYNAMIC use of the board, and could not adequately be explained by static photos. Their several replies to my emails were “prove it”. I suggested they try it out for themselves on a smooth floor (vinyl or laminated). I must conclude that they didn’t do this, and they simply sent another email saying, in effect, “prove it”.5. Returning this to ARIS would cost me circa £45.00 (to Italy). They made it clear that if THEY deem the item to be adequate, they would neither reimburse me the original costs for the item (£127.54) nor the cost of returning it.I can’t afford to throw good money after bad. I have now purchased another wooden ironing board with H-style legs, and it is marvellous. A bit heavy, but it is solid, dependable and beautiful. And made in the UK!If only it were possible to award ZERO STARS. I wish ARIS good luck

Well made surfboard ... I mean ironing board. Seriously, this is a big and wide board. I've never owned one as wide as this so wasn't sure what it would be like. In fact, the extra size makes ironing much easier, particularly shirt sleeves which can fit diagonally across the board (45deg angle).Very pleased. Well made, looks great and nice to use.
