Aveeno Protect + Hydrate SPF#50 Lotion 90 ml

I rarely write a product review for my items that i ordered from Amazon. However, I feel I have to share my experience, which may help other people who are considering to buy this suncream. To clarify, I have an extremely dry/sensitive & oily skin, and also, I have eczema.For the first week, I tried this suncream and found it extremely hydrating for my skin, which is so unlike to other suncream that don't do so. I thought it was a great cream and I continued using it twice daily. But after a few weeks of using it, my skin somehow becomes less plump and healthy... my regular skincare products slowly caused some burning sensation and I suspected it could be this Aveeno suncream. So, I stopped using this suncream, just to check if it is the main culprit for my weakened skin. After stopped usage, my skin is slowly returning to normal and my regular skincare began to work again.So, to conclude, I would say this suncream is just not for me in terms of long term but I can use it some times for short term usage. It is such a shame, as it is so difficult to find a decent suncream that is quite hydrating - perfect for autumn/winter season.Anyway, please note that I only share my experience to help people choosing products, and it may not apply to all people who have eczema/sensitive skin like me.

I got this for my daughter who has eczema and sensitive skin and it was perfect. Great protection, lovely consistency and smells good too.

I used this sunscreen in sunny Spain, reapplying it every few hours and it worked very well. It spreads well, has a nice feel, slightly greasy at first but disappears after a few minutes. I really recommend it and will be buying again!

It's actually got quite a fair bit of fragrance in which is pointless. It's good but would leave a white caste on darker skin tones. There's better sunscreens out there, it's fine but nothing special. Stings my eyes a bit.

Loved it because it has no white cast, considering I’m brown it’s something that’s my top priority when buying sun cream. It is quite greasy and it does burn a little bit but usually wears off and it does irritate my eyes.

I cannot use this in my routine. There is something in this that my skin does not agree with. Or it could be a bad reaction with other products in my existing skin care routine.Either way, using this product made my skin tingle immediately on application when using it for the first few days, which was neither expected or pleasant. I tried a pared down routine to see if i could stop the tingling but a few days later i ended up with a large patch of skin that was very painful to touch and it looked and felt charred and scaly.Of course, everybody's skin and skin care routines will vary. Therefore, success with this product will vary too. All i know is, this product will never go near my skin again!

I'm super allergic to salicylates which are found in 99% of brands in the UK. This one doesn't have that in it, which makes it perfect for me. I am a redhead with very fair skin, and have also had melanoma twice. I need sun protection all day every day. This product works amazing with out being too thick and gross.
