Well made, looks great
Awesome replica. I wasn't expecting much for the price but this is well built, the flintlock has a respectable click to it and the pistol has some heft to it making it feel and look real. Used this for a pirate outfit and got a lot of comments on the pistol.

A great addition to any collection or Cosplay.
Quality of these was exactly as advertised and I couldn't be happier with the product. I used these as a base for a cosplay commission for a friend. The wood is high quality and the hardware is solid and feels very authentic. These will make any costume or collection step it up a notch.

Cute prop, just don’t look too close at the handle.
It’s a kind of cute prop. The flintlock mechanism does cock and fires with the trigger. I didn’t get a ton of use out of it but the build feels substantial. My only complaint is that the metal piece by the bottom of the handle doesn’t sit flush with the wooden body of the flintlock, which isn’t the end of the world but it is cosmetically displeasing

It's.... ok
So, as far as size, weight, and being what you see on the pictures, it all checks out. But, it's not the greatest construction. Namely, the buttplate on it is tacked on with two crappy nails and after about 20 mins of fiddling with it they're already starting to back themselves out. The striker plate was also really loose, but that can be fixed by tightening the screw for it. Overall it's a decent prop, but you might want to plan to find good brass screws after you get it.

Very well made, real wood and metal.
This is a very well made Flintlock pistol prop at this price point. Very well made with real wood and metal. You will not be disappointed. If you want a better prop, go buy a real one for lots of $$$$$$. Thanks.

Broken on arrival
My guess and hope is this is a one-time fluke, but if I had to guess I would think this was owned by someone, broken, fixed sloppily and then returned, then Amazon just reshipped the box to me without even looking at the item. It arrived in a box, with no packaging at all inside it, not even a plastic bag or wrap. The box was in a brown paper Amazon envelope. As seen in the picture, the end cap on the grip is out of place. I'm not sure if this is due to the cheap haphazard way it was made (or repaired), with two little tacks and a long nail through the end cap to hold it in place, or if it was due to damage as a result of poor packaging on shipment. Either way, it looked like it would be an easy fix, just turn it back to the right position but it was completely stuck. We had to pull the tacks out and then figure out how to make a secure repair while maintaining the aesthetic of the item. Once you pull the tacks out, the holes are loose and they don't fit back in securely. The long guide nail is useless and was loose in the hole and bent severely on arrival. No idea if that is part of the design, or if it got bent during shipping. That said, we were able to repair it and I really love the look of the item. Tip: We repaired it by putting super glue in the tack holes and replacing the tacks in the side and then my husband found and ordered a very thin, long, brass screw, with a small head, online. The plan is to drill out the hole in the stock and the end cap to match the size of the brass screw and use the screw to hold it in place. I'll post pics after it's done.
