Lo ocupo para pesca de atunes, dorados, y hasta pez vela de unos 12 kgs y no eh tenido problema.Muy buen carrete.

Es un gran carrete por el precio, pero ya no los hacen como antes. El freno ya no es tan bueno, debes darle muchas vueltas a la Estrella para que apriete, incluso ya bien apretada, no se siente seguro para la pesca de picudos.Esta bien para peces pequeños, pero no pesca de altura.

Penn Wuality at a affordable price
All I can say it has the same great quality reel of one I’ve owned for over 30years. I use these for big bottom fish from ling cod to barn door halibut. The one I bought this past year for this years season is as strong as can be expected. I fish for the big halibut because if handled correctly their meat is exellant. I would not be afraid to take one of these for a trip if a life time.
