Face saver attachment
I bought this product because I was really tired of getting my face pelted with hot .22 brass. I’m left handed and there are extremely limited left handed firearms out there unless it’s custom made and then it would cost a small fortune to buy. Well I guess my delma is another persons vision. This product works like a champ. No more hot brass in my face or down my back. It is so easy, it fits right on the rail and covers the ejection port. It is a great value for the money. Would be a bargain at double the price. It has a very tight fit and is stable. This is a no brainer for anyone who shoots left handed with a right handed firearm. I also use it on my 9mm rifle (that brass is 10x bigger and much hotter) Do yourself a favor and pick one of these brass catchers up and save yourself. Guess us lefty’s are just SOL

Works well and a great value for the price.
Works well as a catcher. No problems with hot brass melting the net. You have to adjust the bracket mount of the catcher to fit an available picatinny rail slot. On my AR's with scopes, the mount is in front of the first scope ring. With flip-up metal sights, right after the rear sight. With a prism scope, it's front of the scope. Two screws on the catcher clamp are simple to adjust for different positions or just buy additional ones for different setups. Two picatinny mounts come with the catcher, which is a big plus.

Perfect!
It stays out the way for the shells to exit and catches them without fail.

Good Quality and functions great...but!
CV Life seems to offer pretty good stuff... I like this brass catcher and the fact I can swap it onto another rifle with the second mounting plate. The frame is metal, the mesh bag is pretty robust. It installs easily with supplied wrenches. One thing tho... this unit will not work well on rifles with right side charging handles. While the unit can be slid back and forth it does not move enough to give access to the charging handle... In other words the catcher will have to be removed in order to charge the rifle. This seems to be intended for the typical (original) AR style charging handle. The mounting plate also sits high enough that it interferes with the open sights on my scout rifle (although it functions fine on a bolt rifle). All in all I like this catcher.... it's just to bad I cant use it in the field with my RH charging handle rifle.... at least not as conveniently...

good catch!
Easy to install, easy to remove, catches brass. Brass does not bounce back causing jam, used on 556 and 300 bo, very close to same sized case, no issues. I didn't try to fill up catcher before dumping brass, ran about 40 and dump.

It works great.
Catches the brass perfectly from my Ruger PC9 Carbine.

This One Is A Design Winner
Someone really engineered strength, simplicity and adjustability into this brass catcher. Dropped this item on a GSG-16 "Picatinny-s gone wild" and the adjustability was key to a close fit. The second mount is great so that you can very quickly swap the catcher to another gun, in this case a Picatinny backboned U-22 Neos. No more raining hot rimfire brass on unsuspecting adjacent shooters. The heavy duty light weight cage and heavy duty netting should hold up a lot of hot brass for some time to come.

Not for every setup but sturdy
This p-rail attachment and the clip for the brass catcher are pretty thick. I tried on my AR308 rifles with a cantilevered scope and another with two separate mounts. It would not fit under the scope between the mounts or under the bell of the scope. On the other it cannot get close enough to the cantilever or under it without blocking the ejection port a little. My only options to make this work would be to shift my cantilever back at least two positions or on both rifles maybe raising the scopes about 1/2 inch, which is a lot for me. It is adjustable to hold it away from the port but it does not lock in place at those positions but might work. I believe this will work with other setups and I am sure it would not be a problem on a rifle without a scope or maybe even with just a red dot or even with very tall riser risers.

Well made

1)On my 10/22 22LR and Winchester Wildcat 22LR 1) The first thing I noticed is the brass shell catcher will cover the charging handle and one has to remove the brass catcher to charge the gun. 2) and I had to install high profile scope mounts on both of my guns to fit the CVLife brass catcher. Otherwise it works well on my guns. I would have given the product 5 stars if it wasn't for the 2 problems.
