great product
I first bought the .357 version. I liked them so good that I bought the .44 version. Has similar weight as real ammo. The more you can fire your weapon, the smoother the action will become. These will allow you to cycle the trigger many time for the little money you spent on the product. Real ammo is very expensive, as you know, and you can use the snap caps at your convenience, in your own home with no danger. Also more durable than plastic versions, and they come with replacement centers which is really nice. hats off to UR Smart store for offering these!

Very useful for both dry-fire and for loading practice
The only thing that would make these better is to have them a physically different color to make sure that they can't get mixed in with live ammunition. The rubber ends protect the firing mechanism. There are plenty to use to load magazines and to practice with. Depending on the weapon, one might be enough if one merely has to pull a hammer back, but more are needed for those which need to by cycled to be ready to fire again. These are most useful when teamed with a laser device. They protect the firing mechanism from potential dry-fire damage while allowing a laser pulse to be triggered. That is useful for electronic targets which register the hits.

Great snapcap, half the cost of other brands
I really like these compared to some of the other brands. They seem to be holding up better (the end isn't getting chewed up by the extractor), have a more "real feel" weight to them and come with replacement rubber ends.

decent dummy rounds
the dumny rounds are prity guud no problems loading them into the mags for my boss 25. no problems wit them chambering either only thing i dont like is they font eject rite. idk if its cause their 2 3/4" shells nd not 3" shell but that shouldnt really matter. i do really like the rubber primer so it can b safely dry fired.... all in all well worth the money

They Function Fine
These load, extract and eject just like live rounds in my Winchester SXP. When I first looked at them, I was concerned because some of them had a slight bulge in the plastic about halfway down. I believe this is because the weighted part of the assembly is held in by tightening a screw that expands it out against the plastic. Anyway, it was not a problem because as I said they function just fine. They work great for familiarization with a new firearm, or function check after re-assembly after cleaning. Wish they were clearly marked as dummy rounds or maybe a different color, but it is pretty obvious what they are. (Mine were not marked dummy round like the ones in the photo).

Robust and works flawlessly.
Great build quality that rivals the dummy rounds we were issued for dry fire training in the military. The rounds never fail to chamber or extract when racking the slide, and reloads without any issue when depressing the slide release.S&W M&P9 2.0

UPDATE: Poor Quality or Used? Shells Work as Intended
UPDATE: Angeebin customer service stepped up and replaced the damaged goods with a brand new set. Great customer service - very professional. As indicated in my initial review, this 12 gauge snap cap is of good size and weight. I have a Mossberg Maverick 88 and theses shells cleanly load in the magazine tube and chamber well on each pump. They clear the loading and ejection port perfectly. The firing pin is nicely cushioned on the rubber insert. A definite buy.Original Review: I am not sure if these were a returned item and then shipped as new to me or if this company just has poor quality control. The box arrived and looked like it had been opened before - tears in some of the folded cardboard. There were two shells that had significant divots in their plastic shell housing. These divots were deep enough that they mushroomed beyond the outside diameter of the shell and jammed in the magazine and magazine tube - would not eject properly. I had to clean off these burrs for them to work properly. Also, advertising says "CNC Machined Aluminum". Not mine - mine are plastic. So again, not sure if this is a package that was used, returned, then re-shipped to me as a new package OR if this company just has very poor quality control. Once I cleaned up the scored snap caps, they cycled through the shotgun nicely. They are of good weight and accurate size (length and diameter). I gave this product a poor review because I feel when you order something NEW, it should come new.

Simulates 12G 2-3/4
These are black with silver base, some shell brands are black with silver base so I would like to see an off color like neon green or something so as to reduce the possibility of a careless accident, but other than that they are sturdy, the cycle just fine, they have a nice rubber pad to protect the firing pin and there are 6 in a box so less expensive than most brands by 50% or more. They are weighted to feel the same as about a 1 oz shell which is great for practicing. It is always better to become familiar with a product using a safe method...

They look too real
They function and cycle perfectly. My only concern is they look too close to a standard load. If the brass were pink or orange it would feel safer to me. But hey, they look cool riding a saddle.

They serve their purpose well.
Perfect for dry fire and loading practice. Weighted similar to an actual shell. The only gripe I have is not with the actual product, but with Amazon. I bought them for $25, few days later they decreased to $19 and Amazon said I had to return the product, get a refund, and re-buy at $19. It would have been simpler and more environmentally friendly to just send $6 to my Amazon account which I would use to buy other Amazon products anyway.
