It has a nice twang and clarity whilst still having grit. Turn up the volume and the gain increases to a lovely heavy sound without becoming too muddy. Add a bit of reverb and delay and an amazing creamy lead tone too. Can't recommend this enough for anyone looking to swap out their humbucker. It has a warm tone and huge sustain. This pickup does not have an ounce of harshness to it. I use this pickup for playing jazz, fusion and blues.
