Doesn't Work Properly
The unit's suction cups keep failing and now the unit's pump is extremely loud and works sporadically. Not a good investment at all.

Great product.
Works well and is fairly quiet.

Suction cups weak; cool concept, poor execution.
Title really says most of it. Good flow for a betta in a 10 gallon, and the little piece that makes the fountain effect is neat, but I've purchased two for two different tanks, and the suction cups don't work and the pump ends up floating and sounding like someone pressure washing.

Suffers from a Familiar Flaw
I like Hygger products. I hate their suction cups. I have 11 fish tanks, and Hygger products in probably 7 or 8 of them. I don't think I go more than 2 or 3 days without having to restick something to the glass. This is one of those products.

Piece of crap
This product worked great for 4 or 5 days then just stopped. The impeller doesn't turn but it still hums. I know it's not an expensive filter but I wanted something relatively small for a shrimp tank. To bad it's just crap

strong, quiet filter system
I really like this filter system! I am using it in a 20 gallon planted tank with community fish. While it is rated for a 10 gallon aquarium, it has made a positive difference in my water clarity and is more effective than my filter rated for a 20 gallon tank. The biggest reasons I love this, outside of the excellent performance, is it is virtually silent, and designed to fit entirely inside of the tank. The location where I keep my tank is pretty tight, making hang-over-the-back style filters tricky to use. The suction cups are effective and it has a compact design that makes it have a minimal impact on swimming space for the fish. While I did "test drive" the water change function and found it to be effective, I will not use this function on an ongoing basis because it is removing water but without vacuuming the gravel. So I prefer the standard siphon for water changes. I don't think this is a downfall of the filter however, more my personal preference and needs of my specific set up. I also do not have fry at the moment, but I could see guppy or molly fry entering this filter through the intake holes. When we do have fry again, I will likely stop using this filter until they are a couple weeks old and can avoid the holes. If you are not raising fry however, the holes are very appropriate for even very small community fish, and my 6 week old mollies (youngest/smallest fish in my tank right now) are not effected by this.My only down side to this tank is the filter size is uncommon, so I will not be able to pick up replacements conveniently at a local pet supply store.

DONT BUY!
This was terrible I had a small fish tank with a few minnows and I tried this and it just stopped working after the second day!
