Unbelievably good.
If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. I don't review often but this product deserves it , being unbelievably good. Firstly, don't be put off by the price tag. If you use it economically and mix up only what you need for a shave, you will find it can last many, many months. It produces the most velvety smooth and light lather which transforms the shaving experience for me; my Merkur razor just glides over the skin with this, it's such a pleasure to use. And being fragrance free, it won't clash with whatever after shave or eau de toilette you might like to use afterwards. Simply superb.

Mister Terne's review of this is perfect in its simplicity and I can't agree more; so far this is the best of all the shaving creams I have tried. And I have tried a lot.I have heavy growth on a sensitive mug and this gives enough lather with a fingertip of cream, to last at least 2 shaves. It creates a better glide surface than anything I have tried to date, and leave no sensation on my face as some others do.I am constantly searching for shaving Nirvana, and regardless of what other creams, gels and oils I try, I ALWAYS come back to this. It also comes in a tube that is better for travelling. I have that too.

Like some others, I have a hyper sensitive skin, even a very small quantity of perfume or menthol can give me problematic itchy rashes. However , I am delighted to find that this cream gives a very close, comfortable & smooth shave with no problems at all.I use a good quality badger brush, & although the cream appears expensive, you can actually go over your beard twiceusing a very small quantity indeed. Fully recommended.

This company makes a variety of shaving creams and lotions, all them appear to be a bit above the norm where quality is concerned. I already use the 1805 formula, a superior product over the canned stuff. This one is just as good with a lighter more whipped feel, it goes on the face and softens up the skin slightly faster and makes shaving a glide, coupled with Gillette proglide and a decent handle the shaving ritual is a bit less of a chore in the morning, pricey at £17 a tub, yes it is, but we all only have one face (most of us) so you might as well treat it. Go treat yourself and shell out for some, makes you feel like you've had a professional shave.P/S once finished the tub is sturdy enough to be used as a man tin for those small items you know you'll need soon.

The Best Shaving Cream -- No More Smelly Husband!
This cream, as with other creams from the same company, is top of the line for shaving products. But best of all, it is UNSCENTED! Note, it DOES still smell. The cream has a distinctive scent, but it is much lighter than scented creams. It smells fresh and doesn't linger too long on the skin. My husband can't smell it at all.Perfect for anyone with sensitive skin.
