Beautiful globe! My grandson loved this gift! Very well made and perfect for both geography and to learn the constellations.

This globe was bought several years ago for my grandson. He is still enjoying this globe immensely. The size is perfect and has great color quality. I highly recommend this product.

Good globe and like that it shows world geography and constellations in separate modes. Does require outlet for dark mode. Also wish it was bigger in diameter.

This worked really well demonstrating coordinates on the Earth and the celestial sphere to my class.

This was a Christmas gift. When he saw the wrapped gift he wasn’t too impressed; but after opening and using it he loves it. A favorite and a learning tool! What more could you want?

UPDATED REVIEW: The seller contacted me and refunded my entire purchase due to the errors on the constellation shapes and locations, so I have added one star (to 3 stars) to my review to reflect the fact that they stand by their products. For many people, the globe will be a fine nightlight that is *mostly* right and it will be still be money well-spent. One observation -- as mentioned in my original review, the pics and videos on Amazon *do* appear to be correct and these good ones all have one thing in common: the on/off switch is on the base while mine is located on the cord. Not sure if that tells you which will have the problems, but it is just an observation. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I like the look of the day and night globes, but the night sky pictured is a mess. See the pics for 2 examples. Many people are familiar with the Orion constellation, but they will be sorely disappointed by the stretched monstrosity on this globe. And Gemini does look closer to its correct shape, but it is in the wrong location -- its not even in the right (northern) hemisphere. Not pictured - the Milky Way is in the wrong location! All these defects should be easy to get right. This really devalues this globe as an educational tool. The most frustrating -- the pictures shown on the Amazon ad -are- pretty accurate -- I must have somehow received a mis-printed globe. I plan to ask for a replacement in the hope that it doesn't have these obvious defects.

My wife wanted an illuminated globe. This was affordable, though not cheap and is of good build and standard. She is pleased. But it would be great to have one that just glowed with illuminated countries. Unfortunately the superimposed constellation map obscures the geographic representation of states. It might be interesting to children and star navigators but not quite what we were seeking.

The plug is not Australian even though purchased on Amazon.com.au and unfortunately the listing doesn’t mention what country the plug is for. Do not buy if you’re in Australia. I can’t comment on the item itself as I haven’t been able to use it yet.
