My 10 year old grandson loves these. He puts them in various military formations and gave them all names, like Commander Crabington, Scorp, Beetlejuice, Horsey, etc. He was quite enamored with them. It's hard to get him interested in much that doesn't involve video games or YouTube, so we were delighted so see his imagination at play. He loves bees, and the hornet is spectacular! It's as large as the resin. A couple are tiny, like the cricket, but overall good sizes. And all are nearly perfect. The scarab beetle is gorgeous! I will buy a different collection to add to his army.

Coolest present at the partayyyy! Such a cool gift, and is educational. We homeschool and this could be bought with funding. All the kids wanted a turn to look at them. Great quality, great product. My daughter loves them.

I bought this as a gift for my science teacher friend. They are super intricate and well worth the cost. Such a nice gift! As some said, they are a bit small but the quality makes up for it. Excellent detail.

Best gift for the five to nine year old children

As described, these are small bugs in clear resin. The magnifying glass was surprisingly good quality. The bugs are fun to look at, but after a few seconds of looking, you’ve just got bugs. It would be great if the accompanying little book was kid-friendly, and included images or parts to identify with explanations of what they do that matched the specific creatures.

The bugs in the assorted set I received look artificially dyed and or squished.
