Inexpensive but functional
This device isolates the phone line from noisy ADSL comms. Phone lines are susceptible to lightening and other weather induced line fluctuations, current surges, etc. These devices are inexpensive and easy to replace so I keep a couple spares handy, have replaced two in the past r.

Outstanding!
After suffering with horrible landline voice issues for many years that no one could solve for mopre than a day a two we installed 1 of these. It has been over 6 months and we have had crystal clear voice over our landline. So simple to install, so economical and yet so works so fantastically. Buy it, install it; you will not regret it! We certainly have not!

Does the job, but I needed one with a 1-2 inch longer tail to fit behind a wall phone.

Seems to be working
Over time our home phone which works on the internet had so much static the reception got to the point where nobody could understand what I was saying. I saw this filter and decided to have a go. I assume it got lost in transit as it took me four months to receive it, but it eventually did turn up. I installed it over a week ago and the quality of the phone is now excellent. If it continues it's the best money I ever spent.
