Paired perfect with the PNW dropper. Placement on the dropbars makes for a quick drop when hitting those descents of crippling fear.

Tried drops based remotes and all got in the way and were terrible for cable routing and getting tight cable runs causing too much friction in cable - only a couple of manufacturers make this style suitable for road bars (bar diameter) so this is the best of the bunch IMO.

I bought this to use on my gravel bike and it works very well when installed properly. I use this in conjunction with a PNW Coast external dropper post and it works every time.

Drop Bar Left Lever Mounting: Unable to position where the lever does not interfere with shifting or gripping around the hoods. Cable routing direction is fair but forces sharp bends.

The picture looks like there is a hinge. There is not, it's just 1 screw to tighten. Remove all handlebar wrap to slide over handlebar and install. Because of the girth, you have to get creative in putting tape around it to make sure there is tape where your hand grabs when you rest hands on the brake hoods. It works. I had to keep tightening the wire because it slips in the barrel nut.

Do not buy. There is no way to tighten the nut that the wire feeds through leading to 0 tension on the lever. It just doesn’t work.

Fits road bars well, would be better with the ability for cable routing under bar tape
