Highly Recommend
Came in handy for moving a washing machine down several flights of stairs. Not the best to go round tight corners with but it just take a bit of back and forth manoeuvring and it is possible to go round corners. Despite the many reviews saying you can’t.Very sturdy and can hold a lot of weight. It’s maximum capacity far exceeds what most people will need it for.

I have to carry heavy items up and down the stairs and thought this would be perfect. Idea is brilliant but sadly we have metal
I purchased this trolley as I am a female worker in an office building with now lift. I have to carry heavy items up and down the stairs and thought this would be perfect.Idea is brilliant but sadly we have metal stairs at work and it is so noisy using and it then disturbs meetings. Also it is very heavy on its own let alone when loaded with items.Sadly I was unable to use the trolley going down the stairs. Also none of the wheels turn so this makes it hard maneuvering.Really sad this hasn't worked out but it will get some use i'm sure.

Dangerous
I bought this trolley to help me remove gas boilers down the stairs, preferably unassisted. Also to help me move the new boiler up the stairs in its box, again preferably unassisted.Firstly it's heavy, really heavy, just by itself.Pulling it up the stairs is hard work, try putting something heavy on it and it's impossibly heavy to pull. It's useless for turning corners, even on a flat surface, it bounces or drags the wheels. For domestic use it's too wide, especially once the wheel assembly has been fitted.I first tested it as I was about to carry an inbuilt oven (600mm)down the stairs at my own house. The oven is quite heavy, more awkward than heavy, I could carry it on my own easily enough. My stairs are curved about half way down doing a full 180 degree turn but a nice wide and gentle turn. I moved a two-seater leather sofa upstairs recently without even touching the walls once if that gives an idea of space.I made it down as far as the first turn with the trolley before the extended carrying bars hit the wall in front of me, before I could even make the turn. The weight of the oven added to the weight of the trolley itself was almost too much to hold back, it literally dragged me down the stairs, I felt a jolt and immediate sharp pain my my right shoulder blade, like I ripped a muscle or tendon.I'm 6' 2", 14.5 stone, very strong, fit and very used to this type of work.I managed to pull the whole thing back up the stairs, the oven door has sprang open with the impact, difficult to close and hold onto the weight of the trolley at the same time.Far simpler to pick up the oven and carry it with my back straight, as it should be.I contacted Ollie's Trolleys and informed them of my test and how it failed miserably. They replied that I was being "harsh" and that they sell around 100 a year without complaints, that the description clearly says that two people are needed, that the weight and width are on the site.Fair points.I tend to look at the images, the image that sold me was of a man using the trolley on curved stairs on his own which is contrary to the description apparently.Ollie's Trolleys have offered me a 30% refund as they said it has now a used item and cannot be resold. If you think that is good service, then by all means by your trolley from them.Update: I used it to remove the boiler with help, so there were two of us trying to get it down the stairs. As before, it literally dragged us down the stairs, we had to lay flat on our backs to hold it back.Another major drawback is storage, it takes up so much space in my garage, even with the wheels removed.I'm going to put mine on FreeCycle.

Carried heavy items up outside steps with only one person
This stair-climbing trolley is worth its weight in gold! A fabulous tool to help me with my house move. And will prove useful with future heavy lifting projects too.

4 Stars at this point only due to the fact that I haven't owned it long enough to fully establish its robustness and longevity -
Prompt delivery (paid a lot extra for this) .. Due to being let down by another supplierHowever, but this has nothing to do with Ollies Trolleys.Item itself arrived as new, well packaged with all relevant fittings.Product appears well constructed and looks very much up to the job .. 4 Stars at this point only due to the fact that I haven't owned it long enough to fully establish its robustness and longevity - But well pleased at the moment.
