I bought this to help decrease the chances of my birth control patch falling off in the shower and it truly works great. I cleared it with my pharmacist before buying one, so you should do the same if you have the same reasons for buying this. The patch stays on and it doesn't mess with the hormones on it. After a week of having my patch on, only the edges of the tegaderm are lifted! With the patch in tact still sturdily stuck on!

Awesome waterproof pads! My kid had a big quarter-sized and somewhat deep abrasion on the ankle and this helped tremendously. It went on easily and came off easily. That's great for kids who often freak themselves out of the expectation of "bandage removal pain". Are they perfect? No. I wish there was a bit MORE adhesion since scratching itches can pull it back. I also wish the package had more than just 8 in it. Kids going to the pool every day are going to need at least one or two to ensure proper coverage. I also feel that SOME water does get into it but basic coverage and multiple uses can get the job done. That said, without these the injury on my kid wasn't healing. It was just getting soggy then drying out. These help the healing speed along. Plus, nobody gets freaked out when your kid goes in the pool with a big bandage on. Because it's mostly transparent.

I used the Nexcare Tegaderm Waterproof Transparent Dressing to keep a glucose sensor in place and it worked wonders. I have used a glucose sensor for over 3 years and, sometimes, the adhesive on the sensor fails doe to sweat during certain activities, causing the sensor to fall and having to be replaced. The Tegaderm patch has helped me keep the sensor in place in many occasions. The waterproof adhesive works wonders even during the most rigorous activities and, in turn, I save a lot of money on sensors as well.

WARNING: These have an expiration date, so don't stock up. The instructions stated "Refer to the expiration date on the package box." I could not find an expiration date on the package. There was an expiration date on the individual dressings of "2025-07-16", which is about six months from purchase. That being said, these are EXCELLENT. Love how they are transparent and you can see your wound/incision heal as well as monitor it for signs of infection. They are waterproof — a real plus if used on the hands. Follow the directions carefully for BOTH applying and removing. You should not rip them off quickly like you might do with a bandaid.

I had major surgery causing me to have stitches that I had to keep dry for the first week. These kept my sutures protected, clean and dry, even during showers! These do not come with gauze so if you need to protect a cut that’s scabbing over, would recommend using gauze to act as a barrier.

In my hunt for something to keep my Dexcom sensor from falling off my body, this was my second purchase for an item of this kind. It has been 8 days, and the bandage is just now starting to curl on one edge. I haven't sweated it off yet, which was the problem I'd been having with the sensors, nor have I broken out from the adhesive. There has been a little bit of itching, but not like other products I've used on the past. The first item I tried caused some sort of a surface burn on my skin and irritated my skin something terrible. I haven't had the problem with these. I like my showers hot, and I work out in my yard a great deal, and these have held up to both. I didn't use anything special other than the sensor overlay and this bandage. I have some Skin-tac but I held off on using it to see if it would hold on it's own, it has done the job just fine. If you are having issues with your sensors falling off, then give this bandage a try. They are a little pricey, but if they work, I'm willing to pay for it.

Ich war sehr enttäuscht, dass das Pflaster so schlecht an der Haut klebte, dass ich ihn am Rand mit zusätzlichem Pflasterstreifen befestigt habe.

Se pega perfectamente, aguanta el movimiento y la flexión. Proteje del agua, etc. Por lo visto acelera la curación de las heridas, siempre que no estén infectadas o sangren mucho. Por mi trabajo he tenido que usar multitud de tiritas y apositos y estos son los que mejor me van, porque no se despegan a la mínima como otros. Me han gustado. Ah, las puedes recortar a la medida que quieras, por eso las cogí un poco grandes para que me sirvan para todo.
