I have more than 40 bites this year (UK/London) due to the wet summer, we also had our patio recently done and the mosquito's have a breading spot in the drain so I was easy pickings. I tried baby oil, Avon oil, Autan, Jungle I was still getting bit. This band is the only thing that has helped me to stop getting bitten and allow the bites to scab over. Great product I will definitely order another one for this year and another one for next.

This product is effective for 3 days at best not the 2 weeks they quote. I got bitten once literally below the bracket after 4 days of use in standard 30 degrees with some exposure to water over that period. Would not recommend.

I usually get bitten a lot. While wearing band in Malawi I only got bitten 3 times and that was by the lake where there were lots of mosquitos. Also used others product down by lake

I bought these to wear in Bangladesh. However, I'm also using this brands mosquito repellent lotion. I feel the lotion does more than the band (have gone out with the band so judging based on that). The reason I'm saying this is because I saw a mosquito sitting on the band as if to say "you think this is going to stop me, b*". My main issue with wrist bands is the coverage wouldn't cover your entire body, so even if they worked, it'd be limited to a small radius and whatever is in its vicinity...which I don't think would be a great deal.I wouldn't buy these again or recommend. They come in a vacuum sealed pouch, but you can see there's been a lot of leakage from where the chemical repellent sits. Makes you think what's actually left for you...oh, the claim they last upto 2 weeks, not true. You can smell the chemicals on the first day and maybe a little on the second, but that's probably about it. After that it's probably only strong enough to protect that part of the wrist...for an hour.

The wristband smells very strongly for the 1st 2 days then dissipates the item did not seem to help to deter mosquito bites
