Great for Concerts
(Got the 2pack) So I originally got these for noise suppression for better sleep and focus and they're exactly what i needed minus the slight discomfort because I just don't really like things sitting in my ears xD. but then I didn't know that these things would come so much in handy at a concert. I went to Hard Summer and these things were a lifesaver. I already have minor tinnitus and the concert had blaring music. I popped these babies in and not only did it suppress all the extra pitch from the sounds but I could hear the music as if I were listening with headphones or the radio. If you want pitch suppression and none of that extra bite that comes with loud noises and sound, these are perfect. if you are looking to completely block out all noises you might want to look into active noise cancelling as these are not made for that.

Very comfortable
These earplugs are very comfortable and block a lot of noise. I remove the small triangular insert when I wear them to sleep because it makes them softer and more flexible. They stay put in my ears without creating discomfort.

High Tech Appearance, Uncomfortable, Not Active Noise Canceling
Over the years I have tried many varieties of ear plugs and am always on the look-out for a better type. I need silence to sleep well.Viewing the listing for this dual set of ear plugs, I made the mistakes that the designer probably hoped an eager consumer might make. I saw the term “noise canceling” and I saw the shape of the item—its large, somewhat high-tech profile with a separate wedge at the center that I thought suggested a battery cover. I noticed the way an arm with a cut-out wraps tidily within the center of the ear, assumed it acts like an anchor. I mentally combined these visual and textual cues into an expectation that this product would be a superior, electronically and technically advanced way to cut down on the sounds that bother me at night when I am perpetually working at staying asleep.I imagined battery supported active noise canceling that would involve the technology my higher-end earbuds employ whereby small microphones listen to all the bombarding sounds and then use electronics to produce the soundwaves required to cancel them out. This is not how they work.I did see the seller/manufacturer disclaimer, the awkwardly worded caveat: “They have a noise reduction rating of 27 - 37 decibels (SNR 30 - 40 dB), different noise cancelling effects in different scenes. They can reduce the most of noise.” I didn’t know what this implied, naively did not imagine that an earplug this fancy could block so little sound. As a consumer I should have checked the decibel levels of the things that plague me. For example, I now know that the common decibel range of dishwashers falls between 38 and 52.If you are considering these earplugs, know that they use passive, not active, noise canceling--they plug the ear canal--that is all. There is no battery, no electronics. Take a look, too, at noise comparison/decibel levels which are easily found via a Google search.I live in a semi-urban area where there is traffic that is only somewhat muffled by these earplugs. While wearing these earplugs the accelerations of cars at a stop sign are audible as is the rumble of trucks. I can hear the furnace turning off and on, the whoosh of air in furnace ducts, my spouse using a hairdryer in a bathroom down the hall, the voices of people walking by on the sidewalk twelve feet beyond a double paned, closed window. These plugs don’t work for my needs. (I cannot imagine them working for the needs of a target shooter, either—like the man pictured in a segment of the Amazon ad, though I note that he is wearing additional ear protection, as well.)I tried the various sizes of silicone attachments that come in the little plastic container with each of the two pairs, so the issue is not about correct sizing. These earplugs, no matter the size, are no better than the thinnest foam plugs I have tried in the past.I don’t find them comfortable, either. I sleep unaware of foam earplugs and can even wear MP3 marshmallow earbuds and not be too bothered by them. But these earplugs are uncomfortable when I roll my head in either direction. So far, the least sound-permeable earplugs I have used are the ones that are made of a silicone-like putty that molds tightly to the ear canal; they almost completely block sound. The putty plugs are not as hygienic and one does have to toss them periodically, unlike these which can probably be washed repeatedly. But I can sleep in silence when I wear the putty earplugs yet can’t sleep for long when I wear these.

comfortable but not noise canceling
This item comes with two pairs of ear plugs. Each has a white case, which is made of very cheap plastic, and snaps closed. i think it's nice that they include 3 different sizes of silicone tips so you can find your perfect size. I was afraid the pointy top part of the ear plug would bother me, as I intended to use them for sleep, but I was actually surprised by how soft and bendable that top part is. They are very comfortable to wear! However, I gave them a 3 star rating because despite all those nice points, they are definitely not noise cancelling. They are instead a very mild ear plug, which blocks a little noise.I am a nightly user of foam earplugs and I have been for many years. Recently I have been on the lookout for a more eco-friendly / cost-friendly option, so I've been trying earplugs of various styles and materials. To put it bluntly, these do not even come close to blocking that amount of noise that foam earplugs do. I doubt i'll use these for sleep, though there may be some occasion to get them out again, perhaps when I'm in a loud environment like a crowd.

Decent earbuds, but not the best fit
I've tried several pairs of sleeping ear plugs, and these fall somewhere in the middle. They aren't the best I've tried, but they are a good value and work perfectly adequately assuming you aren't picky about how ear plugs fit in your ears. The fit itself isn't bad, but they don't work that well for side sleeping. The included case feels very cheap and comes open easily and the ear plugs can fall out.The noise cancelling properties are fine. These aren't going to block out all the sound, but they block out just the right amount for me during sleep to avoid getting woken up by things like snoring.Overall - good budget earplugs, but I'd recommend investing in a better pair if you really plan on using them regularly.

Works great and comfortable
The package includes 2 pair of ear plugs with 3 different tips (S, M, L) so it's good for 2 people. The ear plugs are made of silicone and feels soft. Wearing them they are comfortable and feels good, similar to my bluetooth ear buds that I use to listen to music and make calls. And it does block sounds but it wont be complete silence. I can still hear sounds around me but does minimize them quite a bit which is enough for a good sleep. These are soft and doesn't stick out so it's also good for side sleepers as well. I can still feel them when I sleep on my sides, but to be fair, other ear plugs feel about the same for me.The case is nothing special. It's a white plastic case with 3 separated compartments, one for the ear plugs and two for each of the non-used ear tips. The slots that divides the compartments only goes up to the bottom half so shaking the case does make the ear tips come out of its compartments to the others though.
