25 LITRE PLASTIC BUCKET WITH LID & METAL HANDLE ARM, DURABLE, GLOSSED, HARD WEARING BUCKET

The usage of the bucket is for performing water changes on my marine aquarium. It's very high quality and thick plastic. I think food grade LDPE. It's very durable and perfect for my use for performing waterchanges on a 250L aquarium allowing me to mix up a 10% waterchange in one bucket, I was using two before 10L buckets before and often was often distracted by the time I had done the first 10L, now I can do a full 10% change in one go which is where the value for money is for me. On top of this, the lid is a double seal and the handle is metal. It's one that isn't going to break when you're lugging 25L of salt water around your home.

Very sturdy bucket. Bought this as I had bought a 10kg tub of citric acid, which had arrived split. I managed to decant it immediately into a 12L builders bucket and saved most of it, but didn’t have anything with a lid to use, so bought this. Realistically a bit bigger than I needed but thought I might as well future proof it! No issue carrying it around with 10kg at all, feels very sturdy. The tamper proofing wasn’t needed in my case, but certainly does work, as once I’d put the lid on, I did have to break the seal in order to open it again! So can confirm that for anyone in need of that feature. The lid also fits on very tight, so ideal for ensuring airtightness.

Bought this to store the worms I breed to feed axolotl as they kept escaping from the expensive worm farm, and it’s great for that- apart from the fact the lid doesn’t close properly, but we’ve used duct tape to keep it on. Drilled small holes all over lid, obviously, and it was easy to do and didn’t split. Good size and seems sturdy enough for the purpose. Easy to lift even half filled with soil, food scraps and 1kg of worms in! Would buy again if needed

This seems well made and the lid does fit well on mine. There are no marked graduations to indicate quantity. I weighed mine with an accurate scale then poured in water. It turns out that 25 litres is just about at overflow level! At 23 litres, it is just level with the collar of the bucket. This is not ideal for brewing as it leaves very little spare room for expansion. There is no hole in the lid for an airlock, I drilled my own without a problem. There is no tap fitted, but this could be added later if required. I think I would prefer to pay a bit more for a better bucket next time.
