Simple, but effect. It is worth spending the extra for kids, due to the size. Instant gratification for wanna be magicians
Slightly more expensive that the other light up thumbs around (well about 3 times the price) but they are good. They are better quality - the light up switch is easier. Most importantly the size is good. The cheaper ones tend to be adult size. But these are perfect for my 9 and 11 year old magicians. Lots of enjoyment.If you wonder what the point of them is, just go and have a look on youtube with the kids. Mine were a bit non-plussed when they first saw these. Then they saw them in action and they got it! It is also very simple to do once you have the idea.

Now an honourary member of the magic circle. (I'm not at all)
So simple yet so entertaining for kids and gullible adults. Saw Marvin perform this on a YouTube radio show and knew instantly the kids would love it. Delivery next day comes with a booklet of suggestions and with the smallest amount of practice the kids were absolutely amazed. Took this in to work to pass on to a guy for his kids and I ended up doing demos for 10s of people and the vast majority had no idea how it was done. I've since purchased 3 more sets for people at work. Few poor reviews on here for the colour and look of the thumb but magic isn't real people. Its about the art of deception. You only need to breifly show your empty hand and the shape and colour is enough to fool anyone at a distance. Keep your hands moving and keep the majority of the thumb tucked behind the rest of your fingers (Like an angry italian). Little expensive for what it is but it provides hours of fun. One kid hated that she couldn't work out how it worked so I had to let her in on the secret now she's in on it she holds a thumb and now we "throw the light" to each other. I love it and so do the 30+ people I've showed it to.

Does the trick
Itโs small so only suitable for kids... but it works reasonably well. As an adult I put it on my index finger and it fits as a substitute. However due to the colour itโs pretty obvious itโs fake when itโs on.

My son saw these being shown in Hamleys and wanted his own. When they arrived one of the thumbs didn't light up. There appeared to be a loose connection with the battery. It would work when tempted by a screwdriver. They were sent back and the replacements were no different. I have taken it apart to inspect there is very flimsy contact between the LED and the batteries. Cheap manufacturing and have found a cheaper alternative.

Excellent Gift My Grandson Requested
My Grandson Requested Marvin's Magic-Lights Junior edition as part of his Christmas. I bought it but had an issue with the outside box. I left feedback to the seller and they were absolutely awesome! Very responsive to the issue and great communication.I know my Grandson is going to love the gift he wanted for Christmas.
