I love cam and Hawke so much. This story was so amazing I recommend it to every single person I talk to and am not ashamed. Jescies writing is phenomenal this book had an amazing plot, perfect spice and two of my favorite main characters!

This book has gotten a lot of hype online and tbh it was nothing like I expected it to be. It’s a fantastic read don’t get me wrong, but I feel like we didn’t get enough of the characters themselves. I wanted to know more about who hawke was outside of one piece of his backstory and same with Cole. It felt there there was a lot of things happening but we didn’t get to know the characters as well as I would have liked. It’s an all consuming love and it was beautiful in a way that makes you crave the same type of uncontrollable love for yourself. I just wish there a was a little bit more like it was missing a small piece of the puzzle.

TLDR: 100% recommend it, wanna marry hawke, good plot, good characters, good spice.let me start this by saying that I went in expecting to enjoy this book just because a bunch of people I follow have similar book taste and they had recently read it and really liked it. that being said I absolutely love this book!! it watered my crops, it fed my animals, cleared my skin;you name this book did it. The book can do no wrong in my eyes and I’m like super close to ordering a custom bound version and it’s just so wonderful.I was not sure what I expect. like I knew the premise and I was like oh yeah, I always love a bad boy so this is gonna be it, but I think that the depth of the relationship that develops and the other parts of the plot are really well done to a point that I wasn’t totally expecting. I usually can guess an ending super quick, but I will say this one had me near the end like huh? What’s going on there? What’s gonna happen next? I did predict it closer to the end, but that being said it was getting closer to the end so it’s not like it was a big deal.I want a real life Hawke. I would like to marry him so if anyone has a spare please send him my way. The way that I love a troubled sweet hearted bad boy is insane and I will always melt for one. In that way he’s similar to other book characters we know and love but idk man, Hawke really did it for me. Even the immorality of it all didn’t upset me it only made me love him more because my guy deserves it all and the girl.Nicole was cool. I think her growth through the story was good and seemed like growth a real person would have. She didn’t just wake up one day and get woke, she worked for it. I do think that since she is supposed to be a “nice person” the beginning of the book and the excessive use of calling him junkie and implying that Hawke was a junkie didn’t really fit. Personally if I was Hawke I would be like wow never talking to her again. Their relationship was beautiful though and I am glad she came to her senses.The plot was great. A good premise with enough sub plot and twists that it was really enjoyable. The side characters made you love them so much (not you patrick) and it overall made a cozy little crew to love. It wasn't bad. It wasn't great. It just was. Hawke is a good guy, though very self-deprecating. There's no real character development. He's the same guy at the beginning, middle, and end. Nicole was ok. She had some growth, where she decides to not take the emotional abuse from her ex anymore, though that being tied to another man was disappointing. The antgonist feels like 2 completely different people, and his bad guy persona felt forced in the end. The spice level was high.

This book kept me wanting more! I read it in about 3 days whenever I get a chance to stop for just a second. This book makes your heart feel such strong emotions and the way it is beautifully written is amazing! I would recommend this book to anyone who loved the after series or the bad boy trope romance genre!

Spoilers.... Cheating MFC and MMC.Great book, perfect example to never judge a book by its cover ( book and people). Have had this book on my tbr list for a good minute . Cole is the perfect example of you don't know what exactly your relationship isn't no good for you till you take a step back. She knew she deserved so much more mentally and physically and Patrick wasn't giving it to her didn't bother to listen to her worries. Hawke saved Cole and she saved him. Just because he wasn't born into money he didn't deserve to take the fall, Patrick and his family took advantage of that. They were all thinking the are above everyone else and to use that they are catholic to make them look good. Glad that they got what they got. Hawke deserved to be happy and at peace with Bens death and Cole gave that to him. Even though there is cheating in the book it wasn't to were me personally couldn't finish the book. I still loved was a great story and written well.

Amazing book. The story line isn’t slow and doesn’t drag on at all. The story has heart and raw emotion and lots of hot episodes

Mesmo enredo de intenso demais igual ao kellan e a Keela. Moram na mesma casa por causa do namorado da protagonista e namorado ausente e babaca. Aproximado o Hawke da protagonista claro que tem a química e Hawke é lindo. É bom mais mesmo enredo do livro q já tinha lido antes. Leiam

This book is book fire. Hawke & Cole are everything 🔥🔥From the very moment Cole met Hawke, I could feel their chemistry. I was immediately hooked & the build up was so intense! I was cheering for Hawke from the get go, this book gave me all the feels. It was such a sexy read..
